��X HE diocese of Gloucester, until it was united with that of Bristol by an order in council dated 5th Oct. 1836^* contained all Gloucestershire, (except the cha- pelriesof Iccomb' and "Oowhoneybourne/"' which were in Worcester diocese,) the deanery of Bristol, and the parish of Kingswood in Wiltshire.
