Above are 6 ft or more l.s. in 10 inch bands, above this 4 ft rather coarse, light colored (slightly yellowish) ss., then bluish clay like Pierre- massive- 20 ft. Dakota reddish congl. Pebbles up to ½ inch 10 ft. Nearly white s.s. brown specks to top of cliff 20 ft. Dividing line between s.s. and congl. Well marked, change from nearly structureless clay to congl. is very abrupt., the congl. Being laid on a slightly uneven bed of clay.
