The bank
is from 25 to 45 feet above the former level, and the watershed between the Ganges and the Gumti averages 75 feet above the same. The affluents in Oudh are the Ramganga, the Garra, the Kalyani in Unao, and the Lon in Rae Bareli the two latter are mere rivulets.
