26. Đā cwæð hē, Nys hit nā gōd þæt man nime bearna hlāf and hundum wurpe.[1]

27. Þā cwæþ hēo, Drihten, þæt ys sōð; witodlīce þā hwelpas etað of þām crumum þe of hyra hlāforda bēodum feallaþ.[2]

28. Þā andswarode Drihten hyre, Ēalā þū wīf, mycel ys þīn gelēafa; gewurþe þē eal swā þū wylle. And þā of þǣre tīde wæs hyre dohtor hāl geworden.[3]

29. Đā sē Hǣlend þanon fērde, eft hē cōm wiþ ðā Galileiscean sǣ; and āstāh on þone munt, and þǣr sæt.[4]

30. Þā genēalǣhton him tō mycele menegu, mid him hæbbende manega healte, and blinde, and wanhāle, and manega ōþre, and ālēdon tō hys fōtum; and hē gehǣlde þā:[5]

31. swā þæt þā mænegu wundredon, gesēonde dumbe specende, healte gangende, blinde gesēonde; and hig mǣrsodon Israhela God.[6]
