115.1

בThat delighteth greatly in His commandments.
ג2His seed shall be mighty upon earth;
דThe generation of the upright shall be blessed.
ה3Wealth and riches are in his house;
וAnd his merit endureth for ever.
ז4Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness,
חGracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
ט5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth,
יThat ordereth his affairs rightfully.
כ6For he shall never be moved;
לThe righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
מ7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings;
נHis heart is stedfast, trusting in the Lord.
ס8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,
עUntil he gaze upon his adversaries.
פ9He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy;
צHis righteousness endureth for ever;
קHis horn shall be exalted in honour.
ר10The wicked shall see it, and be vexed;
שHe shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away;
תThe desire of the wicked shall perish.

113Hallelujah.
Praise, O ye servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.
2Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and for ever.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof
The Lord's name is to be praised.
4The Lord is high above all nations,
His glory is above the heavens.
5Who is like unto the Lord our God,
That is enthroned on high,
6That looketh down low
Upon heaven and upon the earth?
7Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
And lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
8That He may set him with princes,
Even with the princes of His people.
9Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house
As a joyful mother of children.
Hallelujah.

114When Israel came forth out of Egypt,
The house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2Judah became His sanctuary,
Israel His dominion.
3The sea saw it, and fled;
The Jordan turned backward.
4The mountains skipped like rams,
The hills like young sheep.
5What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleest?
Thou Jordan, that thou turnest backward?
6Ye mountains, that ye skip like rams;
Ye hills, like young sheep?
7Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob;
8Who turned the rock into a pool of water,
The flint into a fountain of waters.

115Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But unto Thy name give glory,
For Thy mercy, and for Thy truth's sake.
