The list contains 208 species and 22 varieties, collected from an area of about 16,000 acres. I am indebted to the Rev. H. G. Jameson and Mr. Holt for having kindly verified the naming of the species and varieties in the collection. The nomen- clature followed is that of the London Catalogue of Mosses.
