The character called နိဂ္ဂ​ဟိတ် or သေး​သေး​တင်, is reckoned among the consonants, by the Burmese. It is placed over the letter, with which it is combined, and has the power of a final မ, divested of its inherent heavy accent (see Accents;) thus သံ, than.
