CLEANSING,

When dry the beans are taken to the machine for cleaning and hulling. A blower carries off the dust: then in the hulling machine the beans oass

between corrugated surfaces, where by friction the inner coverings are loosened, and a second blower throws out the hulls and dust.

By machinery the beans are then sorted as to size and weight, and from the last machine they fall into bags for shipment.
