Dear Family. I find it very hard to write a letter of four lines & have spent much time in studying the mosque opposite & the recruits camped there. Yesterday several prisoners received parcels - chiefly members of Submarine E 15. I'll be quite satisfied with a letter myself. Love to you all. Maurice.
