Dearest Old Sister
I am writing tonight in case this may catch some extra mail out to you; it is anxious news that I must give you. Mr Persse rang up tonight to let us know that Maurice has been missing since June 28th. Cecil got word about it from Brisbane. Mr Persse said that Father is going to town tomorrow to make what inquiries he can & wants Lesley to go with .
I wrote my usual letter to these dear brave brothers as usual today, Bert's before learning this news & to Maurice just afterwards. You asked once about addresses, I am not sure if we ever answered, they are, Trooper B.B. Delpratt, No 315 B. Squadron, 2nd Light Horse Regiment, 1st Australian Light Horse Brigade, via Australian Intermediate Base in Egypt.
