Refceit, ' 7 5, 80, 91. «  aoEd. 1, flat. 3. c TEM, Becaufe that when Tenants for Term of Life, Tenants in Dower, or by the Law of Eng- land, or in Tail after Poflibility of Iffue extinct, be impleaded, they be often of the Covin of the De- mandants, that the Tenements demanded againft them fliall be recovered, and they will not pray in Aid, nor vouch to Warranty them in the Reverfion, but plead in chief fuch a Plea whereby they know well the Tenements fliall be loft, in Difherifon of them in the Reverfion;" ' (2) it is accorded and af- fented, That if any fuch Tenant be impleaded, and he in the Reverfion come into the Court, and prayeth to be received to defend his Right at the Day that the Tenant pleadeth to the Action, or before, he fliall be received to plead in chief to the Action, without taking any Delay by Voucher, Aid Prayer, Nonage, or any other Delay whatfoever, (3) fo that after fuch Receipt he fliall have no Manner Delay by Protec- tion, Effoin of the King's Service, common Effoin, nor any other Delay whatfoever, but that the Bufi- nefs fliall be hafted in as much as it may be by the Law; (4) and that Days of Grace be given by the Difcretion of the Judges between the Demandant and him that is received in fuch Cafe, v/ithout giving the common Day in Plea of Land, if the Demandant will not afTent, to the Intent that the Demandants be not too much delayed, becaufe they muft plead with two Adverfaries; (cj and in the Right of Pleas that be now depending in fuch Cafe, they in the Rever- fion fliall be received in the Manner aforefaid, at the next Day that the Parties have in Court, although the fame Parties have pleaded in chief before this Time. ' II. Provided always, That they in the Reverfion which pray to be received, as before is faid, fliall find Surety of the IfTues of the Tenements demanded for the Time that the fame Demandants be delayed, af- ter the faid Plea determined between the Demandants and Tenants, if the Judgement pafs for the Demand- ant againft them in the Reverfion aforefaid, as well where the Receipt is counterpleaded, as where it is granted.'
