Wherefore the King our Sovereign Lord, by the Advice of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Commons, in this prefent Parliament aliembled, and by Authority of the fame, ordaincth, eftabliflieth, and enacteth, That the laid Act made the Third Year of his Reign, concerning the Premifies, be good and See farther, 13 effectual, and that from henceforth it be duly put in Execution. BE it eftablillied, ordained, and enacted by the Authority of this prefent Parliament, That no Manner Certain Things of Perfon from henceforth bring, or caufe to be brought, into this Realm of England to be fold, any wrought of silk Manner of Silk wrought by itfelf, or with any other Stuff, in any Place out of this Realm, in Ribbands, not lawful t0 be Laces, Girdles, Corfes, Calles, Corfes of Tiffues, or Points, (z) upon Pain of Forfeiture of all the faid S^g^"* Ribbands, Laces, Girdles, Corfes, Calles, Corfes of Ti flues and Points, and every of them, in whole s ^n - ICH ' Hands foever they be found, or the Value of the fame; the one Moiety of the faid Forfeiture to our So- vereign Lord the King, and the other Moiety thereof unto any of the King's Subjects that will feize the fame, the which to do, it fliall be lawful to every of the King's Subjects at all Times. (3) And that it fhall be lawful to every Perfon, as well Stranger as other, to bring into this Realm from henceforth all other Manner of Silks, as well wrought as raw or unwrought, to fell at his Pleafure, any Acts or Act of Parliament heretofore to the contrary made in any wife notwithstanding.
