The Warden's fted- Weavers, of the fame Town of Linne being, fhall content and pay to the faid Warden of Norwich or Allowance by Norfolk, which fhall fo-come to Linne, in the faid Twenty eighth Day, 01 within Six Days next after the Ch ip" in' hlS *" a 'd Twenty eighth Day, for his Cofts and Expences, for every Time that he fhall fo come to Linne, be- coming to Linn, tween the Feaft of St. Michael the Archangel, and the Annunciation of our Lady St. Mary, Hi. s. and for every Time that he fhall fo come to the faid Town of Linne, between the Feaft of the Annunciation of our Lady, and the Feaft of St. Michael the Archangel, ii. s. (3) and if the faid Inhabitants of Worfted- Weavers of the faid Town of Linne do not content and pay to the faid Warden coming to Linne in Form, aforefaid, for his faid Cofts and Charges the faid Hi. s. or ii. s. as is above limited, then the fame Inhabi- tants fhall forfeit and pay to the faid Warden, or to his Executors, for every fuch Default of Payment, xl. s. ' dens °f the f 3 '^ Town, in Manner and Form abovefaid, and weaved, and fealed by any of the Wardens of the faid Town of Linne, and Yarmouth, in Form above remembered, by Force and Virtue of this pre- fent Act, may be lawfully put to Sale by the Owners and Makers of the fame, without any other marking or fealing upon the faid Cloths, or upon any of them to be had or made by any other W~ardens, dwelling or abiding without the faid Towns, and without any Arreft, Seifure, or Forfeiture to be had or made of or upon any of the faid Cloths, for Lack of any other Seals or Marks; any Thing contained in the faid former Act made in the faid Seventh Year of King Edward the Fourth to the contrary notwithftanding. Number of Two at once, to learn, ufe, and exercife the faid Craft within either of the faid Towns of Linne and Great Yarmouth, or Suburbs of the fame, albeit the Father of the fame Apprentices or Apprentice may not expend in Lands and Tenements to the yearly Value of xx. s. any Act or Ordinance to the contrary made or to be made notwithftanding. This Statute IX. Provided alway, That this prefent Act, nor any Thing therein contained, be not in an}r wife hurtful ftal.l r- ot he P re - or prejudicial to the Mayor of Noriuich, or to his Succeffors, or to the Wardens of the faid City and County, Ma^or ofNor- or t0 t * le ' r Succeffors, in any Point, Article, Power, or Authority, other than for weaving, fearching, and wich, or the " fealing of Worfteds, Saves, and Stamins, made or to be made only within the faid Towns of Linne and Wardens there. Yarmouth, or Suburbs of the fame, or to any of them; and for limiting of Marks to the Makers of Worfted, Sayes, and Stamins, only inhabited in either of the faid Towns or Suburbs thereof, and taking of Appren- tices in Form above remembered; (2) but that the faid Mayor of the faid City of Norwich, and Wardens of the faid City and County, and every of them, may have and ufe all other Points, Articles, Powers, and Authorities contained and fpecified in the above remembered Act, made in the faid Seventh Year of King 7 Ed. 4, c. 1. Edward the Fourth, as well for the Search, Sealing, Correction, and Reformation of the faid Wardens newly to be elect by Virtue of this prefent Act, and every of them, according and after fuch Form as they may do or ufe, any of the faid Wardens of the faid City or County by Force of the faid Act made in the faid Seventh Year of King Edward the Fourth, as all and every other Inquiries, Corrections, Searches, Seifmgs, and Reformations to be had, for the true making of Worfteds, Sayes, and Stamins, in and upon anyPerfon or Perfons, as well within the faid Towns of Linne and Yarmouth, as without, without Trouble, Let, or Vexation of any of the Inhabitants of the faid Towns, in as large and ample wife as they might have done before the making of this prefent Act; any Thing contained in the fame prefent Act to the con- trary notwithftanding. None in Linn or X. And alfo provided, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Craftfmen of Worfted- Yarmouth (hall Weavers inhabited, or hereafter to be inhabited, within either of the faid i owns of Linne and Yarmouth, orTye "uTi"' or Suburbs of the fame, and the Merchants, or any other Perfon or Perfons which fhall happen to buy of' Norwich. the ^ ame Craftfmen, or of any of them, or of any other Perfon, any of the faid Cloths of Worfteds, Sta- mins, or Sayes, made or to be made within either of the faid Towns of Linne and Yarmouth, and fealed by the faid Wardens of the fame Towns to be elect and fworn as is aforefaid, and any of them, fhall not fhear, dye, or put in Colour, or calender any Worfteds, Stamins", or Sayes, made or to be made within either of
