D. 1535. every Thing as the Sheriffs, Efcheators and Coroners be obliged and bounden to do in all and every other Shire of this Realm of England; (9) and that the Sheriffs and Efcheators of the faid Shire or County of Monmouth, that hereafter fhall be appointed by our Sovereign Lord the King, make their Accounts for their faid Offices in the King's Exchequer in England, in like Manner and Form as other Sheriff's and Ef- cheators do within this Realm of England, and upon fuch like Pain and Penalty as is upon other Sheriffs and Efcheators in every other Shire within this Realm of England. And it is enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Lordfhips, Townfhips, Parifhes, Commotes and Cantreds of Brecknock, Creckboivel, Tretowre, Penkelly, Englijh-talgarth, IVeljh-talgarth, Dynas, the H'iyL Glynebough, Broyulles, Cantered)', Lando, Blaynllinby, Eftrodew, Bucltbeand Lingros, in the laid Country or Dominion of Wales, and all and fingular Honours, Lordfhips, Caftles, Manors, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments, lying or being within the Compafs or Precinct of the faid Lordfhips, Parifhes, Commotes and Cantreds, or any of them, in whofe Poffeffion foever they be or fhall be, and every Part thereof, fhall ftand and be for ever, from the faid Feaft of All-Saints, guildable, and fhall be reputed, accepted, named and taken as Parts and Members of the faid County or Shire of Brecknock ; (2) and that the faid Town of ■Brecknock fhall be named, accepted, reputed, ufed, h>d and taken, Head and Shire-town of the faid Shire or County of Brecknock ; (3) and that the Shire-court or County of and for the faid Shire or County of Brecknock, fhall be holden and kept in the faid Town of Brecknock. And forafmuch as the Counties and Shires of Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery and Denbigh, be far ha ! e E a 9 lancery ' diftant from the City of London, where the Laws of England be commonly ufed, miniftred, exercifed and at Brecknock ' executed ; and for that the Inhabitants of the faid Shires of Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery and Denbigh, and another at ' be not of Subftance, Powe,r and Ability to travel out of their Countries to feek the Administration of Denbigh. ' Juftice ;' (2) it is therefore enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the King our Sovereign Lord fhall have one Chancery and Exchequer at his Caftle of Brecknock, and one other at his Town and Caftle of Den- bigh ; (3) and that the Sheriffs, Efcheators, and other Officers Accomptants of the Counties of Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery and Denbigh, from and after the faid Feaft of All-Saints, fhall be yearly appointed by our Sovereign Lord the King, for and within every of the faid Shires of Brecknock, Radnor, Mwntgomcr' and The Accoimfsof Denbigh ; (4) and that the Sheriffs, Ffcheators and other Officers Accomptants of the Counties of Breck- the Sheriffs, Ef- noc k and Radnor, from and after the faid Feaft of All-Saints, fhall yearly make their Accompts before the cheatorsand King's Auditors, and fuch Chamberlain or Baron of the faid Exchequer, as fhall be thereunto appointed by other Officers. our j a jj Sovereign Lord the King, in fuch like Manner and Form ;>s Sheriffs, Efcheators and other Officers Accomptants do yearly make their Accompts in the King's Exchequer at Wejlminfter within this Realm of England.
