Sheriff's, fhall be as good and effectual as if it were taken by any Juftice of Record. <-• x6. 1 the Sheriff of the County of Monmouth fhall certify fuch Recognizances, common Cero&uie of Mainprife or Surety of Appearance, at every Quarter-Seflions, before the Juftices of the Peace of the faid B County of Monmouth; (2) and that every Perion or Perlons within the faid County of Monmouth, put M<"unuuih. under common Mainprife, and bound to his nerfonal Appearance, fhall keep their perfiw d Appearance, at the Scffions holden within the faid Shire of Monmouth, next after the Claufe of Eajhr, and at the Seflions 1 to be holden within the faid Shire next after the Feaft of Saint Michael the Archangel, until fuch Time i that they be thereof relcafed after the Form of the Law. XXIII. And that every of the Sheriffs of the laid Counties of Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery and Den- Certificate of Ugh, and every of them, fhall certify luch Recognizances, common Mainprife or Surety of Appearance Recognizance, by them taken, before Inch Juflice as fhall be appointed by our Sovereign Lord the King within every of the faid Shires, at every Seflions to be holden in any of the laid Shires before the fame JufHce. XXIV. And that every Perfon and Perfons within the faid Counties of Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery, Appearance cf an.! Denbigh, and alfo within the above named Counties of Glamorgan, Keyermarthen, Pembroke and Car- tl"n> which «e digan, or any of them, put under common Mainprife, and bound to his or their perfonal Appearance, as bou / nd - well by the aforcfaid Sheriffs, as by the Jullices of any of the faid Counties, fhall keep their Appearances before the laid fuftices at every Seflions within the faid Counties to be holden, in fuch like Manner and Form as is ufed in the three Shires of North Wales. ' XXV. And for that the Lords Marchers before this prefent Parliament have ufed to put their Tenants Lm° ivfarcher ' within their Lordfhips Marchers, under fuch common Mainprife and Surety of Appearance, and hajve (I " H ***« fl : ' had the Forfeitures thereof, which for ever from and after the faid Feaft of All-Saints, fhall utterly ccafe '^ e f°' ,cltu ' and determine :' (2) Theicfore be it enacted by the Authority aforcfaid, That after the faid Feaft of FartherProvi- All-Saints, every lay and temporal Perfon now being a Lord Marcher, fhall have the Moiety or Half of (ions relating" every Forfeiture of all and every common Mainprife, Recognizance for the Peace or Appearance, for- hereto, 1 & 2 feited by any of their Tenants inhabiting within any of their Lordfhips Marchers; (3) and they to be F ' i: - &M - ■ paid the lame Moiety or Half by the Hands of the Sheriffs of every of the faid Counties where fuch For- |.S* ■ . feitures (hall be, if the Sheriff" can levy the fame; (4)^ and the fame Sheriff to account to our Sovereign Lord the King for the other Half or Moiety in fuch Exchequer as they be bound to be aceomptant. XXVI. Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That immediately upon the Prorogation or Cornmifli - •■■ Diffolution of this prefent Parliament, the Lord Chancellor of England fhall direct the King's Commiflion • ■ ■ • under his (Trace's Great Seal, to fuch Perfons as to him fhall be thought convenient, to enquire and view °' Wa! " all the faid Shires of Kaycrmarthen, Pembroke, Cardigan, M-onmouth, Brecknock, Radnor, Mountgomery, Gla- f ? u " dr f <i ^ morgan and Denbigh, and every Part and Parcel of them ; and upon fuch View and Search, to divide them and every of them into fo many Hundreds as they fhall think moft meet and convenient; (z) and the Hundreds fo divided fhall return and certify with the faid Commiflion into the High Court of Chancery before the faid Feaft of All-Saints, and the fame to remain of Record, and to be of fuch Force and Effect as it were by Aft of Parliament; (3) and that the faid Hundreds, after the faid Certificate, fhall be ufed and taken as other Hundreds be in every other Shire within this Realm of England, XXVII. Furthermore it is enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That immediately after the Prorogation Coromifli -. ■■ or Diffolution of this prefent Parliament, the Lord Chancellor of England fhall direct the King's Commiflion inquire in -:,e under his Grace's Great Seal to fuch Perfons as to him fhall be thought convenient, to enquire and fearch L,v "' 3ni c "~ out, by all Ways and Means that they can, all and fingular Laws, Ufages and Cuftoms ufed within the !!olr-s "' faid Dominion and Country of Wales; (2) and the fame fhall return and certify to the King's Highnefs, and his molt honourable Council, before the faid Feaft of All-Saints next coming; ( »). and that upon deli- berate Advice thereof had and taken, all fuch Laws, Ufages and Cuftoms as the King's Highnefs and his faid moft honourable Council fhall think expedient, requifite and neceffary to be had, ufed and exerciied in the before rehearfed Shires, or any of them, or in any other Shire of the Dominion or Country of Walts, fhall lland and be of full Strength, Virtue and Eftedt, and fhall be for ever inviolably obferved, had, afed and executed in the fame Shires, as if this Act had never been had ne made ; any Thing in the fame Act contained to the contrary in any wife notwithftanding. XXVIII. And it is further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That for this prefent Parliament, and all Two ( other Parliaments to be holden and kept for this Realm, two Knights fhall be chofen and elected to the •' ' fame Parliament for the Shire of Monmouth, and one Burgefs for the Borough of Monmouth, in like Ma.n- ■ ner, Form and Order, as Knights and Burgeffes of the Parliament be elected and chofen in all other Shires t ;',' c of this Realm of England, (2) and that the fame Knights and Burgeffes fhaU have like Dignity, Preemi- 3 nence
