XII. The Bill for the Houfhold. WHERE Treafons, Mifprifions of Treafons, Murders, Manfhughters and other malicious Strikings, Puniltmcntcf , by reafon whereof Blood is or fhall be fhed, againft the King's Peace, been often and many Times Murder iad_ done and committed within the Limits of the King's Palace or Houfe, or other Houfeor Houfes, where Bloodthed wnn«  and when his Majefty is there demurrant and abiding in his own moft Royal Perfon, which Offences, when court. 13S they be done, be beft known by his Highnefs Officers and Minifters of his moft honourable Houfhold, and 4 i c fi, ,-., by his Majefty's Servants of the Chequer-Roll; (2) and if his Majefty fhall happen to remove from fuch his Palace or Houfe, or other Houfe or Houfes, where fuch Offences were done, before the Trial or De- termination thereof, then fuch Offences might not lawfully be tried, heard and determined by and before the faid Officers, but be remitted to be tried and determined by the Order of the Common Laws of this Realm; (3) by reafon whereof, the Punifhment of the faid Offenders in fuch Cafes hath been lone de- layed, and ibmetimes their Offences forgotten and not remembred, and fo efcape unpunifhed :' (4) Be it therefore enacted by the King our Sovereign Lord, with the Affent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Commons, in this prefent Parliament aflembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That all Trea- fons, Mifprifions of Treafons, Murders, Manfhughters, Bloodftu-ds and malicious Strikings, by reafon whereof Blood is or fhall- be fhed againft the King's Peace, which hath been done fince the Feaft of All- Saints hft paft, or hereafter fhall be done, within any the Palaces or Houfes of his Highnefs or his Heirs, or any other Houfe or Houfes, at fuch Time as his Majefty hath been fince the faid Feaft of All 'Saints, or hereafter fhall happen to be then demurrant or abiding in his Royal Pe-fon, fhall be from thenceforth in- quired of, tried, heard and determined within any the King's Palaces or Houfes, or other Houfe or Houfes where his Majefty or his Heirs fhall hereafter repair unto, or be abiding, in Manner and Form following, That is to fay, Before the.
