Promotions, had ftill continued and remained in their full Being; (6) and faving to all and every Patron, -Dy r 2 S 3 - Donor, Founder or Governor of any fuch College, Chantry, Free Chape!, ftipendary Priefts, and other the Premiffes, given, limited or appointed to the King by this Act, and the Donor, PeofFor and Giver of the aforefaid Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, to them or any of them, or to any Ufes or Purpofes be- fore mentioned, (7) all fuch Rents-Services, Rents-Seek, Rents-Charge, Fees, Annuities, Profits and Offices; and alfo all Leafes for Term of Life, Lives and Years, whereupon the accuftomed Rent or more is referved, as they or any of them lawfully had, perceived and enjoyed in, out or of any of the faid Pro- motions, or out of any of the faid Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, before the firftDay of this prefent Parliament. Every Perfon XXII. And over that, it is ordained and enacted by the Authority of this prefent Parliament, That all that hath fold ^ ^ every Perfon and Perfons being in Life, which have or hath for any Sum of Money to him or them to the 3 Kir.e U by paid, bargained or fold any Manors, Lands, Tenements or other Hereditaments aforefaid, whereunto the this Aft (hall King our Sovereign Lord is intituled by Virtue of this Aft, fhall repay to fuch Perfon as fo bought any of repay the Mo- the faid Manors, Lands, Tenements or other Hereditaments, or to his Executors or Affigns, upon a Re- » e?« queft therefore made, or within three Months then next enfuing the fame Requeft, as much Money as he or they received for the Sale of any Thing fo by him or them fold; (2) and for Non-payment thereof fuch Perfon and Perfons as purchafed or bought the faid Lands, Tenements and other the PremifTes, or any Parcel thereof, and their Executors and Admirwftrators, fhall be enabled by the Authority of this prefent Parliament to fue and maintain an Action of Debt at the Common Law of this Realm, againft fuch Perfon or Perfons as fo bargained or fold to him or them, or to their Teftator, any of the PremifTes belonging to any College, Chantry, Free Chapel or other Promotion Spiritual; in which Aftion of Debt none Efibin, Protection or Wager of Law fhall be admitted or allowed. All Chantries, XXIII. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That all and every of the faid Chantries,. Free Chapels, Colleges and Free Chapels, and other the PremifTes given, limited or appointed to the King by this Aft, cr and ah the Manfion-houfes, Manors, Lands, Tenements, PofTeffions and Hereditaments, and other the- , Lands fhall oi the Court of PremifTes whatfoever they be, given, limited and appointed to the King by this Act, and every Part and Augmentations. Parcel of them, which by Authority and Vertue of this Act been veiled, adjudged and deemed, or fhall be in the King's Majefty's PofTeffion and Hands, or which the King fhall be intituled unto by Vertue of this Aft, fhall be in the Order, Survey and Governance of our Sovereign Lord the King's Court of the Aug- mentations and Revenues of his Crown, or in fuch other Court as the King^ at any Time hereafter fhall affign, name or appoint, and fo fhall and may be granted, letten and fet to Farm by the Chancellor, Offi- cers and Minifters of the fame Court, or of any other Court fo to be appointed, in fuch Manner and Form as other Manors, Lands and Tenements appointed to the fame Court of Augmentations and Revenues of his Grace's Crown, or other Court fo to be appointed, been to be granted or letten: (2) And that all the Farms, IfTues, Revenues and Profits coming and growing of the fame PremifTes, and of every Part thereof, fhall be taken and received to the King's Ufe, by the Officers and Minifters of the fame Court or Courts, in fuch Manner and Form as is ufed and had of other Manors, Lands and Tenements, and of the IfTues,. Revenues and Profits of the fame, committed to the Order, Rule, Survey and Governance of the faid Court of the Augmentations and Revenues of the King's Crown,, or any other Court fo to be appointed; any Aft, Statute, Ordinance, Cuftom or Ufe heretofore had, made or ufed to the contrary notwith- ftanding. Roll ioi. any Leafe under his or their'Common Seal or otherwife, for Term of Years, Life or Lives, of their faid Colleges, Chantries, Free Chapels or of other the fame PremifTes or of any Part thereof, or of any Ma- nors, Lands, Tenements, PofTeffions or Hereditaments whatfoever they be, to them or to any of them uni- ted or annexed, belonging or appertaining, upon the which Leafes the ufual and old Rents and Farms ac- cuftomed to be yielden and referved, or more, by the Space of twenty Years next before the faid three and twentieth Day of November, are not referved and yielden, fhall be utterly void and of none Effeft : (2) And that all other Leafes and Grants heretofore made of any of the PremifTes given, limited or appointed to the King by this Aft, fhall be as good, available and effectual in the Law, to all Intents, Conftruftions. and Purpofes as if this Aft had never been had or made; any Thing in this Aft, or any other Aft hereto- fore had or made, to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. l.anjs whereof XXV. Provided always, and be it further ordained and enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That this the Governors Aft or any Thing therein contained fhall not extend to any Manors, Lands, Tenements, PofTeflions or of any Colleges, Plereditaments, which the faid Mafters, Wardens, Minifters, Chantry Priefts, Incumbents or other the faid &c. werefa e Governors, Officers, Minifters or Rulers of the PremifTes or of any of them, hath or is or hereafter fhall. fjC.
