(2] And if it fhall happen, that there be no need of any Reformation or Alteration of the Rates of the faid Wages, but that the former fliall be thought meet to be continued ; then the Proclamations for the Year paft fhall remain in Force until new Proclamations upon new Rates concerning the faid Wages fhall be fent down according to the Form of this Eftatute. The Fine of tl-.e XVII. And be it further enacted by Authority of this prefent Parliament, That if all the faid Juftices of p.'if[' ; 'i'"' H^ *' Peace, refiant within the Counties where they are or fhall be Juftices of Peace, Mayors and Head Officers, which be alifent do not before the tenth Day of June next coming, and afterward yearly, appear and affembie at the faid Ge- ar the taxing of neral Seffions, or within fix Weeks next after faid General Seffio::s, and limitandrate the Wages of the faid Servants Wages. Servants and Labourers, or fhall not confider whether the former Rates made be meet to be continued or to be altered and reformed in Manner and Form aforefaid, or be negligent or remits in the Certificate thereof the faid Seffions, or at the Times of the faid Rates of Wages to be fet, within fix Weeks next after every fuch Seffions, and not vifited with any fuch Sicknefs as he could not travel thither without Peril and Danger of his Life, or not having any other lawful and good Excu'fe, to be allowed by the Juftices then affembled for the Rating and Taxing of Wages as is aforefaid, or by the more. Part of them, upon a corporal Oath and Affidavit to be taken and made openly before the faid Juftices upon the Holy Evangelifts, by fome credible Peribn aiTeffed and taxed in the Book of Subfidy of that County to the clear Value of five Pounds at the leaff, or by fuch other Perfon as the moft Part of fuch Juftices fhall allow and accept to take fuch Oath, fhall for fuch Default or Negligence forfeit unto the Queen's Majefty, her Heirs and SuccelTors, ten Pounds of lawful Money of England.
