And every other that hereafter fhall occupy a Plough-land in Tillage or Pafture lying and beinghn him that hath feveral Parifhes, fhall be chargeable to the making of the Ways within the Parifh where he dwelleth, as one Plough-land f ar f or th and in fuch Manner and Form as any Perfon having a Plough-land in any one Parifh, is or ought riflieT™ a " t0 ^ e chargeable by reafon of the faid former Statutes or either of them. The Penalty for V. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid, That all and every Perfon and Perfons that fhall not fcoming not repair, ditch or fcour any Hayes, Fences, Ditches or Hedges adjoining to any Highway or common D 'jk 5 ' yes Faiing-way, or fhall not cut down or keep low all Trees and Bufhes growing in or next adjoining to any not cutting' ° the faid "Ways, according to the true Intent and Meaning of the above-recited Aft made in the fifth Year down of Bufnes. of the Queen's Majefty's Reign that now is, for every Offence committed therein contrary to the true In- tent thereof, fhall forfeit and lofe for every Default ten Shillings. And that all and every Perfon and Perfons that fhall occupy any Lands adjoining to the faid Ground fo adjoining to any fuch Highway or common Fairing-way, where any Ditching or Scouring fhould or ought to be as aforefaid, fhall from Time to Time as Need fhall require, ditch and fcour in his and their Ground fo adjoining, whereby 1 7 .e Water conveyed from the faid Higiiway or common Fairing- way over the Ground next adjoining may have PaiTage over the faid Ground fo next adjoining to that Ground, upon Pain of Forfeiture for every Time fo offending, for every Rood not fo ditched and fcoured twelve Pence. And for the better keeping of the Highways paflable for her Majefty's People, Be it enacted by the tailing of Soil Authority aforefaid, That no Perfon or Perfons having any Ground by Leafe or otherwife, adjoining to
