And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, If any Perfon under her Majefly's Subjection or Obedience (hall at any Time after the End of the faid forty Days, by way of Exchange, or by any other Shift, Way or Means whatfoever, v/ittingly and willingly, either direrStly or indirectly, convey, deliver or fend, or caufe or procure to be conveyed or delivered, to be fent over the Seas, or out of this Realm, or out of any other her Majefly's Dominions or Territories, into any foreign Parts, (l) or fhall wittingly or wil- lingly yield, give or contribute any Money or other Relief to or for any Jefuit, Seminary Prieft, or fuch other rricft, Deacon, or Religious or Ecclefiaftical Perfon, as is aforefaid ; (3) or to or for the Mainte- nance or Relief of any College of Jefuits, or Seminary already erected or ordained, or hereafter to be erected or ordained, in any the Parts beyond the Seas, or out of this Realm in any foreign Parts, or of any Perfon then being of or in any the fame Colleges or Seminaries, and not returned into this Realm with Submiffion, as in this Aft is expreiTed, and continuing in the fame Realm : (5) That then every fuch Perfon fo offend- ing, for the fame Offence fhall incur the Danger and Penalty of a Praemunire, mentioned in the Statute of Praemunire made in the fixteenth Year of the Reign of King Richard the Second. VII. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall not be lawful for any Perfon of or under her Highnefs Obedience, at any Time after the faid forty Days, during her Majefly's Life (which God long prefervej to fend his or her Child, or other Perfon, being under his or her Government, into any the Parts beyond the Seas out of her Highnefs Obedience, without the Special Licence of her Majefty, or of four of her Highnefs Privy Council, under their Hands in that Behalf firft had or obtained (except Merchants, for fuch only as they or any of them fhall fend over the Seas only for or about his, her or their Trade of Merchandize, or to ferve as Mariners, and not otherwife) upon Pain to forfeit and lofe for every fuch their Offence the Sum of one hundred Pounds. VIII. And be it alfo enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That every Offence to be committed or done againft the Tenor of this Act fhall and may be enquired of, heard and determined, as well in the Court commonly called the King's Bench in the County where the fame Court fhall for the Time be, as alfo in any other County within this Realm, or any other her Highnefs Dominions where the Offence is or fhall be committed, or where the Offender fhall be apprehended and taken. IX. Provided alfo, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may be lawful for and Jefuits, Priefts, j- eve ry Owner and Mafter of any Ship, Bark or Boat, at any Time within the faid forty Days, or other

Oath fet forth in Anno prima, and by Writing under his Hand confefs and acknowledge, and from thence- forth continue, his due Obedience unto her Highnefs Laws, Statutes and Ordinances, made and provided or to be made or provided in Caufes of Religion. XI. Provided always, if it happen at any Time hereafter any Peer of this Realm to be indicted of any Offence made Treafon, Felony or Praemunire, by this Act, that he fhall have his Trial by his Peers, as in other Cafes of Treafon, Felony or Praemunire, is accuftomed. XII. Provided neverthelefs, and it is declared by Authority aforefaid, That if any fuch Jefuit, Seminary Prieft, or other Prieft abovefaid, fhall fortune to be fo weak or infirm of Body, that he or they may not pafs out of this Realm by the Time herein limited without imminent Danger of Life, and this understood as well by the corporal Oath of the Party as by other good Means, unto the Bifhop of the Diocefe and two Juftices of Peace of the fame County where fuch Perfon or Perfons do dwell or abide ; That then, and upon good and fiifficient Bond of the Perfon or Perfons, with Sureties, of the Sum of two hundred Pounds at the leaft, with Condition that he or they fhall be of good Behaviour towards our Sovereign Lady the Queen and all her liege People, Then he or they fo licenced and doing as is aforefaid, fhall and may remain and be ftill within this Realm, without any Lofs or Danger to fall on him or them by this Act, for fo long Time as by the fame Bifhop and Juftices fhall be limited and appointed, fo as the fame Time of Abode ex- ceed not the Space of fix Months at the moft : (2) And that no Perfon or Perfons fhall fuftain any Lofs, or incur any Danger by this A£r, for the receiving or maintaining of any fuch Perfon or Perfons fo licenced as is aforefaid, for and during fuch Time only as fuch Perfon or Perfons fhall be fo licenced to tarry within this Realm ; any Thing contained in this Act to the contrary notwithftanding. One knowing a XIII.
