May it pleafe your excellent Majefty, at the humble Suit of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Commons, in this prefent parliament aflembled. That it may be declared and enaiSted; (cj and be it declared and enacted by- Authority of this prefent Parliament, That all Monopolies, and all Commifllons, Graiits, Licences, Charters and Letters Patents heretofore made or granted, or hereafter to be made or granted, to any- Perfon or Perfons, Bodies Politick or Corporate whatfoever, of or for the fole Buying, Selling, Making, Working or Ufing of any Thing within this Realm, or the Dominion oi fVales, (6) or of any othei* Monopolies, or of Power, Liberty or Faculty, to difpenfe with any others, or to give Licence or -Tole- ration to do, ufe or exercife any Thing againft the Tenor or Purport ofany Law or Statute; (7) or to give or make any Warrant for any fuch Difpenfation, Licence or Toleration to be had or made ; or to a^ree or compound with any others for any Penalty or Forfeitures limited be any Statute ; or of any Grant or Promife of the Benefit, Profit or Commodity of any Forfeiture, Penalty or Sum of Money, that is or fliall be due by any Statute, before Judgment thereupon had ; (8) and all Proclamations,- In- hibitions, Reftraints, Warrants of Afliftance, and all other Matters and Things whatfoever, any way tending to the Inftituting, Erefting, Strengthening, Furthering or Countenancing of the fame or any of them ; (9) are altogether contrary to the Laws of this Realm, and fo are and ftiall be utterly void 3 Mod. ijj. and of none Eff^e.cft, and in no wife to be put in Ure or Execution. _ ,- II.
