The TITLES of the STATUTES.

  1. An Act for the Repairing and maintaining of the Haven, River and Channel running unto the Borough and Tovn of Colchester in the County of Essex, and also for the Paving of the said Town.
  2. An Act to enable Sir Francis Gierke, Knight, to make Sale of certain Lands Tenements and Hereditaments, for the Payment of his Debts, and providing of Portions for his younger Children.
  3. An Act for the altering of the Tenure and Custom of the Lands late of Thomas Potter, Esquire, and the Lands of Sir George Rivers, Knight, and Sir John Rivers, Baronet, lying all in the County of Kent, and being now of the Nature of Gavelkind, and to make them dedcendible according to the Courde of the Common Law, and to settle the Inheritance of them upon the said Sir John Rivers, and the Heirs of the said Sir John Rivers and Dame Dorothy his Wife.
  4. An Act to make the Lands of Lionell Earl of Middlsex subject to the Payment of his Debts, &c.
  5. An Act for the Sale of the Manor of Abbots-Hall in the County of Essex, late Part of the Possessions of Sir James Pointz, Knight, deceased, to the Intent that the Money raised thereby may be distributed among the Creditors of the said Sir James Pointz, according to the Direction and Intention of the said Sir James Pointz by his last Will and Testament.

  1. AN Act for punishng divers Abuses committed on the Lord's Day, called Sunday.
  2. An Act to enable the King's Majesty to make Leases of Lands, Parcel of his Highness Duchy of Cornwall, or annexed to the same.
  3. An Act for the Ease in obtaining of Licences of Alienation.
  4. An Ast for the further Restraint of Tipling in Inns, Alehouses, and other Victualling-houses.
  5. An Act for three intire Subsidies granted by the Spiritualty.
  6. An Act for two intire Subsidies granted by the Temporalty.
  7. This Session of Parliament (by reason of the Increase of the Sickness, and other Inconveniencies of the Season requiring a speedy Adjournment, nevertheless) shall not determine by his Majesty's Royal Assent to this and some other Acts.

  1. AN Act for the Settling and Confirmation of Copyhold Estates and Customs of the Tenants in base Tenure of the Manor of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucester, and of the Manor of Ashley, otherwise called Charleton Kings in the said County, being holden of the said Manor of Cheltenham, according to an Agreement thereof made between the King's most Excellent Majesty, being then Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwal and of York, and Earl of Chester, Lord of the said Manor of Cheltenham, and Giles Grevill Esquire, Lord of the said Manor of Ashley, and the said Copyholders of the said several Manors.
  2. An Act for the Enabling and Confirmation of an Agreement or Composition made between the King's Majesty's Commissioners of Revenue, his Majesty being then Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwal and Earl of Chester, on his Majesty's Behalf, and his Majesty's Cppyholders of his Highness Manor of Macclesfield in the County of Chester,' and of a Decree made in the Court of Exchequer at Chester, for the perfect Creation and Confirmation of certain Lands and Tenements, Parcel of the said Manor, to be Copyhold and Cultomary Lands, acccording to the Tenor of the same Decree.

  1. The Petition exhibited to his Majesty by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal and Commons in this present Parliament assembled, concerning divers Rights and Liberties of the Subjects.
  2. Act for the further Reformation of sundry Abuses committed on the Lord's Day, commonly called Sunday.
  3. An Act to restrain the Passing or Sending of any to be popishly bred beyond the Seas.
  4. An Act for the better suppressing of unlicenced Alehouse-keepers.
  5. An Act for Repeal and Continuance of divers Statutes.
  6. An Act confirming a late Composition made with the Tenants of Bromfield and Yale in the County of Denbigh.
  7. An Act for five Subsidies granted by the Spiritualty.
  8. An Act for five Subsfidies granted by the Temporally.

  1. AN Act for the Establishing and Confirming of the Foundation of the Hospital of King James, founded in Charterhouse in the County of Middlesex, at the humble Petition and only Costs and Charges of Thomas Sutton, Esquire, and of the Possessions thereof.
  2. An Act for Assurance of a Jointure to Dame Frances Wife of Sir Thomas Nevill, Knight, Son and Heir apparent of Sir Henry Nevill, Knight, Lord Abergavenny; and to enable the same Lord and Sir Thomas to sell certain Lands for Payment of their Debts, and Preferment of their younger Children.
  3. An Act concerning the Inheritance, Freehold and Possessions of William Earl of Devon.
  4. An Act concerning the Title, Name and Dignity of Earl of Arundell, and sor the annexing of the Castle, Honour, Manor and Lordship of Arundell in the County of Sussex, with the Titles and Dignities of the Baronies of Fitzallen Clun and Oswaldestre and Matravers, and with divers other Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments hereafter in this Act mentioned, being now Parcel of the Possessions of Thomas Earl of Arundell and Surry Earl Marshall of England, to the same Title, Name and Dignity of Earl of Arundell.
  5. An Act for the Enabling of the Right Honourable Dutton Lord Gerard Baron of Gerards Bromley, to make a Jointure to any Wife which he shall hereafter marry, and to make Provision for any his younger Children, and for the better securing of Portions and Limitation of Maintenance for Alice Gerard, Frances Gerard and Elizabeth Gerard, Sisters of the said Dutton Lord Gerard, and Daughters of the late Right Honourable Gilbert Lord Gerard deceased.
