D. 1670. n'nns iTiallbe Form following, (that is to fay) three fourth Parts of all the Monies which from and after the faid firft tiiiijuicd. 2)j,y of May one thoufand ux hundred feventy, and before the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand fix hundred feventy and feven, fliall be raifed or payable upon the Receipt of the aforefaid Impofition of two Shillings for every Chaldron or Ton of Coals, or in cafe of Conctalrnent thereof as aforefaid, fhall be imployed and difpofed for and towards the Rebuilding, Erefting or Repairing of the faid Parifh Churches refpedlively, according to fuch Order and Diredioji as by the Lord Archh{hop of Canterbury, the Lord Bifhnp and Lord Mayor of London for the Time being, or any two of them, fhall be given in that Behalf • and the fame (hall from Time to Time be iifued out and paid accordingly, unto fuch Perfon and Perfons as they or any two of them fhall by Warrant under their Hands and Seals for that Purpofe dircdt and appoint: (2) And the other fourth Part, Refidue thereof, fhall be imployed for and towards the giving Satisfaflion for Grounds fet out and imployed for inlarging of the Streets, making of Wharfs, Keys, Publick Market- places and other Publick Ufes, in this and the forefaid Aft mentioned and appointed : (3) And that one Moiety of all Monies which from and after the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufand fix hundred feventy and feven fliall be raifed or payable upon the aforefaid Impofition of three Shillings the Clialdron or Tun of Coals, or in cafe of Concealment thereof as aforefaid, fhall be imployed and difpofed for and to- wards the Rebuilding, Erefting and Repairing of the faid refpective Parifli Churches, by fuch Order and Direftion, and lobe ifTued and paid by fuch Warrant, of the faid Lord Archbifhop of Canter bury. Lord Bifliop and Lord R-Iayor of London for the Time being as aforefaid ; and the other Moiety thereof fhall from Time to Time be imployed and difpofed for the Giving of Satisfaction for Ground fet out and im- ployed as aforefaid, and fuch other publick Ufes and Purpofes as in this and the aforefaid AQ. are mentioned and appointed. Stock of Money. ^^ ^ Security for any Sum or Sums of Money by them to be borrov/ed for that Purpofe, to any Perfon of Perfons that fhall or will advance any Sums of Money upon that Security: All which Monies fo to be borrowed fhall be imployed for and towards the Rebuilding and Eerefting, or Repairing of the faid Ca- thedral and Parifli Churches refpeftively, according to the true Intent and Meaning of this Aft; (2) and in like Manner alfo are hci-eby further impowered, to aflign fuch Proportion or Proportions of the Monies, to be paid in Courfe cut of the faid Impofitions, to the Parifliioners of any of the refpeftive Parifh Churches, or any other Perfon or Perfons who fliall and will fecure the Advancement of prefent Monies for the Re- building of their refpeftive Parifh Churches, and fhall be willing to accept of fuch Aflignraents for his or their Satisfaftion of the Monies to be difburfed and laid out in the Rebuilding thereof; (3 j and that the faid Mayor, Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London and their SuccefTors, fhall be and are hereby enabled to engage the Refidue of the Profits arifing of the faid Impofition, either by Virtue of this or the aforefaid Aft refpeftively, as a Security for any Sum or Sums of Money by them to be borrowed and taken up for that Purpofe, by Indenture under their Common Seal, to any Perfon or Perfons that fhall or will upon that S curity advance any prefent Sum or Sums of Money: All which Sum or Sums of Money fo to be borrowed, fhall be imployed for and towards the Making of fuch Satisfaftion, and other the L^fes, In- tents and Purpofes whereunto the faid refpeftive Impofitions are by this and the aforefaid Aft appointed to be converted and imployed, and not otherwife ; and alfo in like Manner fliall and may a.Tign any Sum or Sums of Money to he paid in Courfe out of the faid Impofition, to any Perfon or Perfons whofe Grounds fh '11 be taken as afoi'efaid, who are or fliall be willing to accept thereof for his or their Satisfaftion. Buildings, Sheds, Pales, Walls, Inclofures, and other Obilruftions and Impediments whatfoei'er, now Handing or being within forty Foot Northward of the faid River of Thames between the Places aforefaid, (Cranes, Stairs and Docks only excepted) fliall v/ithin eight Months now next enfuing be taken down and removed, and the faid Ground cleared and levelled, and that from henceforth there fhaJl be no Building or Ereftion
