Recognizance or other Forfeiture, is or fhall be exhibited, fet, impofed, loftorfor- ' feited ; (a) nor fhall any of the faid Officers or Minifters aforefaid, or any of them, or any other, wit- tingly or willingly mifcertify or eftreat in or into the faid Court of Exchequer, any Fine^ Poft-Fine, IfTue, Amerciament forfeited. Recognizance or other Forfeiture whatfoever, whereby the Procefs of the faid Court of Exchequer for the levying of the fame may be made invalid and of none Effeft ; (3) but every fuch Officer and Officers, and all and every other Perfon and Peribns offending herein, fhall for every fuch Offence forfeit and pay treble the Value of fuch Fine, Poft-Fine, Iffue, Amerciament forfeited. Recogni- zance, Sim and Sums of Money, and other Forfeiture (o fpared, taken off, diltharged, concealed, not Penalty enlarged certified, or eftreated, or mifcertified or eftreated as aforefaid ; the one Moiety thereof to the Ufe and Be- by 3 Geo. That where any Fine or Fines, tificatesand Sum or Sums of Money, or other Forfeitures due to his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, fliall from hence- Eftreats, the forth at any Time or Times be paid to any Sheriff, Clerk of Affize, Clerk of the Peace, or other Officer Green-wax fhall ^^ Minifter whatfoever belonging to any Court or Courts, and be according to the Intent and Directions of Levying of the '^'^'•^ ^^ Certified and eftreated in or into the faid Court of Exchequer; there and in fuch Cafe the Sum- fame, mons or Procefs of the Green-Wax fliall go forth and be awarded to the refpedtive Sheriffs againft fuch Officer and Officers, and other Perfons to whom fuch Fine or Fines, Sum or Sums of Money, or other Forfeiture is or fliall be fo paid, for the levying and receiving of the fame, that fo it may appear when, to whom, and how fuch Monies are received, anfwered and paid to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs; anv Cuftom or Ufage to the contrary notwithftanding.
