' and vexatious Aftions commenced and profecuted by evil difpofed Perfons againft Officers and others em- ] ' ployed in the Execution of the faid Aft ;' Wherefore to prevent the like vexatious Profecutions for the 1 future, be it further enabled. That if any A£lion, Suit, Plaint, or Information, fhall at any Time after ; the faid fifteenth Day of December be commenced or profecuted againft any Perfon or Perfons, for what he t or they fhall do in Purfuance of or in Execution of the faid laft recited Aft, or this Aft, fuch Perfon or i Perfons, fo fued in any Court whatfoever, fhall or may plead the general Iflue, and upon any IfliiC joined, Gi-nfr.U ifTue, j may give the faid refpeftive Afts, or either of them, as the Cafe may require, and the fpecial Matter in ■ Evidence ; and if the PlaintifF or Profecutor fhall become nonfuit, or fufFer Difcontinuance, or if a Verdift pafs againft him or her, the Defendant and Defendants fhall recover their treble Cofts, for which they fhall Treble Ccfts, have the like Remedy as in any Cafe where Cofts by the Law are given to Defendants.
