XI. Provided always, and be it enacted and declared by the A^uthority aforefaid. That it fnall and may Any Perfon: be lawful to or for any Perfon or Perfons, during the Continuance of this Aft, to make, draw, or diftil ""^y ■*'*• for Sale, or to be retailed, any Low Wines or Spirits, from Drink brewed from malted Corn only, pay-^"'=ss<">y ing the Duties, and being fubjeft to all Fines and Penalties as other Diftillers are j any Law, Charter, or^'^^w.j. other Thing to the contrary notwithftanding. That all Strong Waters, Brandy, AquaVita:,^^'^^^^^^'^^ or Spirits brought from the Iflands of Giiernfey, Jerfy, Sark, or Alderney, fhall be charged with the Duty ^""[^j^"'^ of eight Shiiiing.s for every Gallon, to be paid to the Colleftor or Officer of Excife, upon Entry thereof fro^'Guernfe}%, before landing; and that all other excifeable Liquor brought from the faid Iflands, or any of them, ex-&c. cept Beer, Ale, and Mum, fhall be charged and chargeable with fuch and the like Duties as are charged or chargeable on the like Liquors made in this Kingdom, to be entred and paid as abovefaid : And that before the Landing of any fuch Liquors, Oath fhall be made by the Importer or Owner of fuch Brandy, Strong Waters, or Spirits, and other Liquors, before the Colleftor or principal Officer of the Cuftoms of the Port where the fame are to be landed, that the fame are of the Growth and Manufafture of the faid O- ™"'^ ^^ Iflan<ls, or one of them, and are not made from or mixed with any foreign Liquors or Materials.
