And be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That the faid Commimoners and Governors for -i -•;>-'> Management and Receipt of the Excife, at the He'ad-office m London for the Time being, fhall feparate and keep apart all and every the Monies raifed by the Rates and Duties of Excile, and o;her Duties upon Salt hereby granted, as the fame fhall from Time to Time arife, or be p:iid into the faid Office of Excife, by the Receivers or Colleftors of the fame, or by any other Perfon whatfoever. And the fu'd Commiffion- ers and Governors of Excife for the Time being are hereby required and flriftly enjoined, from Time to paid ill weekly. Time, to pay weekly, videlicet, on TVednefday in every Week, if it be jiot a Holiday, and if it be, then the next Day after that is not a Holiday, all and every the Monies arifmg by the Ra:es and Duties of Ex- cife, and other Duties hereby granted, into the Receipt of their A4aje{tiei Exchequer, diltinit and apart from the other Monies, which the faid Commiflioners and Govsrnors of Excife fhall receive for the Ufa 3;id regiftred. of their Majsfties, their Heirs and Succeflbrs. That there (liall be provided and kept in their Majefties Exchequer, that is to fay, in the Office of the Auditor of the Receipts, one Book in which all the faid weekly Mo;;ies, which fjiall be paid into the Exchequer as aforefaid, fhall be entred apart and diftinit from all other Monies paid or payable to their Majeities, their. Heirs and Succeflbrs, upon any Account whatfoever. Penalty ipon XXX. And be it further enacted, That if the faid CommilTioners and Governors of Excife, for the Otficers. Tim.e being, fhall refufe or negleft to pay into the Exchequer all or any the faid weekly Sums appointed to be paid as aforefaid, in fuch Manner as they are before by this Aft required to do, or mall divert ormifap- ply any of the fame, then they, for every fuch Offence fnall forfeit their Offices of Commiffioners and Go- vernors f;r the Management and Receipt of the Excife, and be incapable of any Office or Place of Truft whatfoever, and fhall be liable to pay the full Value of any Sum or Sums fo diverted or mifapplied, to any Perfon or Perfons who will fue for the fame, by any Aftion of Debt, Bill, Plaint, or Information, in any of their Majefties Courts of Record at Wejlmirfler, wherein no Eiloi.i, Protection, Wager of Law, Pri- vilege of Parliament, or other Privilege, or m.ore than one Imparlance fhall be granted or allowed.
