An Adl for encouraging the Linen Manufafture oi Inland., and bringing Flax and Hemp into, and the making of Sail Cloth in this Kingdom. ' WJ HERE A S there are great Surris of Money and Bullion yearly exported out of this Kingdom, -s n, g. c. 4. ' VV for the purchafing of Hemp, Flax and Linen, and the Produftions thereof, which might in great j El. c %. ' Meafure be prevented by being fupplied from Ireland, if fuch proper Encouragement were given as might ' invite Foreign Proteftants into that Kingdom to fettle;' Be it therefore enadfed by the King's moft Ex- cellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Com- mons, in this prefent Parliament afl^embled, and by the Authority of the fame.
