And be it further enadted by the Authority aforefaid. Extraction, relating to Strong Waters, Brandies, Aqua Vita, and ot:her excifeable Liquors brought from the Iflands of Guernfey, ferfey, Sark or Alderney, and all the Charges, Duties and Penalties, and every Article and Thing therein contained, fliall continue and be of Force and Virtue during the Continuance of this Aft, in as full and ample Manner, to all Intents and Purpofes, as if the faid Claufe was herein Word for Word repeated and enafted. IX. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That the Penalties and Forfeitures, hereby Penaltits, £-c. impofed for any OiTence relating to the faid Duties upon Low Wines or Spirits of the firft Extraftion, how levied, &c. fhall be one Moiety to his Majelty, his Heirs and Succeffors, and the other Moiety to him or them that Ihall inform or {vJi. for the fame ; and that the lame Penalties and Forfeitures, for any Offence relating to the faid Duties upon Low Wines or Spirits of the firft Extraftion, fhall be recovered and levied by the fame Ways, Means and Methods, as any Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures, are or_ may be recovered by any of the Laws of Excife, or by Aftion of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Information, in any of his Ma- jefty's Courts of Record at Weftminfler, wherein no Effoin, Proteftion or Wager of Law, nor any more than one Imparlance fliall be allowed.
