(Annx, c, 19. which fhould be imported nt any Time or Times between the laft Day of "July one thoufand feven hun- dred and ten and the firft Day oi Juguft one. thoufand feven hundred and twelve: And whereas by an Act made in the fixth Year of her Majefty's Reign, intituled, Jn A Si for continuing the half Subfidies therein mentioned, with fever al Impofitions, and other Duties, to roife Money by way of Loan for the Service of the IVar, and other her Majejlfs necefjary and important Occafons, and for charging of Prize Goods and Seizures, and for taking off' the Drawbacks of foreign Cordage, and to obviate the clandejiine -hnportation of wrought Silks, it was enaited, amongft other Things, That over and above all other -Subfidies, additi- onal Duties, Impofitions, and Payments whatfoever, by any former or other A(ft or Adts of Parliament, or otherwife howfoever, then due or payable, or which then ought to be paid to her Majefty for or upon any Wines, Goods, or Merchandizes whatfoever, imported or to be imported, there fhould be raifed, levied, collected, paid and fatisfied unto her Alajelly, her Heirs and Succeflbrs, for and upon all Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes, which at any Time or Times from and after the laft Day of July one thou- fand feven hundred and twelve, and before the firft Day of Auguft one thoufand feven hundred and four- teen, fhould be imported or brought into Great Britain, one Moiety or half Part of fuch and the like feveral and refpe£live Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of Money, as by the faid A(£t of the fifth Year of her A'lajefly's Reign were charged or payable within or during the Term thereby granted or limited, for or upon the lilce imported Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes refpeitively (except fuch Goods and other Merchandizes as by the faid A£t of the fifth Year of her Majefty's Reign, or by any Law in Force at the making of the faid Act of the fixth Year of her Majefty's Reign, were exempted from the Pay- ment of the Subfidies or Duties which were firft g anted in the twelfth Year of the Reign of King Charles the Second as aforefaid) : Now it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid. Re- mainder to be applied to the Purpofes of this Aft, fhall be in the like Cafes, the like proportional Drawbacks and Abatements made of the whole, or Part of the Duties by this Adt impofed upon the fame Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes refpedtively ;. and that the faid Moiety or half Part of the faid Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of Money by this A£t granted, fhall be raifed, coIle£led, levied, fecured, and paid within and throughout the whole Kingdom of Great Britain, by the fame Ways, Means, and Methods, and under fuch Penalties, and Forfeitures, and- with fuch Al- lowances, and fubjeiSt to fuch Rules and Diredtions, as in and by the faid laft mentioned Adt of the fixth Year of her Majefty's Reign, or by any other Adt or Adts therein referred unto, are prefcribed or ap- pointed, for the raifmg, levying, colledting, fecuring, and paying the faid Moiety of half Part of the fame Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of Money granted by the fame Adt of the fixth Year of her faid Ma- jefty's Reign; and that every Article, Rule, and Claufe contained in the faid laft mentioned Adt of the fixth Year of her Majefty's Reign, or in any Adt or Adts of Parliament therein mentioned, or thereby re- ferred unto, for raifing, colledting, levying, fecuring, and paying the faid Moiety or half Part of the faid Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of Money upon Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes thereby granted as aforefaid, during the Continuance- thereof, are and fhall be by Force of this Adt revived, and fhall be iifed, exercifed, and put in pradtife, for the raifing, levying, colledting, and anfwering the faid Moiety or half Part of the Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of Money upon Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes by this Adt granted or impofed as aforefaid, and all Arrears of the fame, from Time to Time, for the Uf^s and Purpofes in this Adt expreffed, as fully and effedtually, as if the fame Articles, Rules, and Claufes, and every of them, were again particularly, and at large recited and re-enadted in the Body of this prefent Adt, excepting only as to fuch of the faid Articles, Rules, and Claufes touching which other Provifions, Alterations, or Exemptions are m.ade by any Adt or Adts of Parliament now in being, which other Pro- vifions, Alterations, or Exemptions, fhall be obferved, with refpedt to the Moiety or half Part of the Subfidies, Duties, or Sums of Money upon Wines, Goods, and Merchandizes hereby continued as afore- faid, in the fam.e Manner as they are to be obferved v/ith refpedt to the faid Moiety or half Part of the faid Subfidi;s, Duties, or Sums of Money formerly granted as aforefaid. ' XXXI. And whereas the faid one Moiety of half Part of the faid Subfidies, Duties, and Sums of

' and Duties mentioned in the faid laft mentioned Adt of the fixth Year of her Majefty's Reign, were by ' that Adt miade fubjedt and liable to the Securing, Payment, and Satisfadtion of certain Loans of any ' Sums v/hich fliould not exceed in the whole feven hundred twenty-nine thoufand fixty-feven Pounds ' fifteen Shillings and fix Pence three Farthings, borrowed or authorized to be borrowed thereupon, and ' fuch further Sums for Payment of Intereft as are therein mentioned or referred unto:' Now it is hereby further declared and enadted by the Authority aforefaid. That immediately from and after the Time that al! the faid Loans, not exceeding feven hundred twenty-nine thoufand fixty-feven Pounds fifteen Shillings and fix Pence three Farthings, borrowed or authorized to be borrowed as aforefaid, and all the Intereft Monies fecured, or intended to be fecured by the faid laft mentioned Adt of the fixth Year of her Ma- jefty's Reign, fhall be paid off and difcharged in thf Manner in the fame Adt mentioned, or that fuffi- cient Money fhall be referved in the Exchequer for that Purpofe, out of the Monies arifing or to arife by 3 the
