That within one and- Mexia Amount '^^"'7 ^^Y^ ^f^ ^^e faid firflDay of /^f<r7j; one thoufand feven hundred and ten, at the furtheft, the Lord of all the Sums Treafurer, or any three or more of 'the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, Ihall caufe an advanced for An- exaift Account to be taken of all the Sums of Money which fhall, at or before the faid firft Day oi May nuities, &c. one thoufand feven hundred and ten, be advanced or paid by fuch Purchafers as aforefaid, into the Ex- chequer, and compute how much by the Year the certain Annuities which will be payable to fuch Pur- chafers, their Executors, Adminiftrators, Succeflbrs and Affigns (in cafe the Refidue of their Payments- be duly complied with) will in the whole amount unto, and confequently how much (if any Remainder be) of the faid yearly Fund of eighty-one thoufand Pounds will then remain undifpofed ; which Account being certified by the faid Auditor of the Receipt, and Clerk of the Pells, and allowed by the faid Lord- Treafurer, or any three or more of the Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, fhall be en- rolled and recorded in the refpeflive Offices of the faid Auditor of the Receipt, and Clerk of the Pells ; and Publication fhall be made thereof, as well in the London Gaz.ette, as by affixing the fame upon the- Royal Exchange in London. Natives or Fo- XXXVII. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That in cafe it fhall appear, by fuch reigners may be- Account to betaken, certified, enrolled, recorded and publifhed, as aforefaid, that there fhall be fuch " ' " a Refidue or Remainder of the faid yearly Fund of eighty-one thoufand Pounds undifpofed, over and above fo much as fhall be applicable to the Payment of the certain Annuities to be purchafed as aforefaid ; then it fhall and may be lawful for any Perfon or Perfons, Natives or Foreigners, Bodies Politick or Corporate, to contribute for or towaids advancing fo much as (together with the Monies to be raifed by the Sale of fuclv certain Annuities as are- above mentioned) fhall not in the whole exceed the faid Sum of nine hundred thoufand Pounds, by paying, at or before the fifteenth Day of September one thoufand feven hundred and ten, to any Receiver or Receivers to be appointed for thatPurpofe, as is herein after mentioned, the Sum of ten Pounds, or divers entire Sums often Pounds, upon this h.& ; and that every fuch Perfon, who will fo become an Adventurer, fhall and may advance the Sum often Pounds; for which Sum fo advanced, he, fhe or they, for thirty-two Years, fliall be entitled to receive a Share or Dividend of the faid Re- mainder of the faid yearly Fund, as hereafter is expreffed ; and that every Adventurer may advance as^ many entire Sums of ten Pounds, as he, fhe or they fhall think fit ; and for every fuch Sum of ten Pounds fo advanced, he, fhe or they is or are to be interefted in one Lot or Share of and in the faid Remainder of the faid yearly Fund. " Her Majefty to appoint Managers for the Lottery. Books to be provided with three Columns, &c. " Receivers to be appointed by the Lord Treafurer, &c. Managers to examine the Books, and deliver " them to the Receivers, &c. Tickets to be delivered out at lo/, per Ticket. Receivers to re-deliver " the Books, &c. by 26 Sept. 1710. Middle Column Tickets to be rolled up, and put in a Box. Inner- " moft to remain in the Books. Books with two Columns. The fortunate Tickets Ihall be one fortieth " Part of the whole Number, and the Managers fhall caufe fuch yearly Sums to be written upon the fortu- " nate Tickets, as the Lord Treafurer, &c. fhall diredl, fo that the Total thereof, together with twenty " Pounds yearly to the firft drawn Ticket, and twenty Pounds to the laft drawn Ticket, fhall not charge " fo much of the undifpofed Remainder of the yearly Fund of eighty-one thoufand Pounds, but that " every Ticket not having a fortunate Lot, exceeding fourteen Shillings a Year, (hall be entitled to four- " teen Shillings a Year for thirty-two Years.
