Provided always, and it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Governor Bank to conti- -..pi'eii-- on this Ait, (hall be redeemed by Parliament, according to the Provifo herein after contained in that Be- half; and that the faid Governor and Company, or any Members thereof, (hall not incur any Difability for or by reafon of their doing any Matter or Thing in purfuance of this Ait. XXIV. And it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Fee or Gratuity whatfoever (hall No F«s to ke or may be demanded or taken of any his Majefty's Subjects for receiving or paying the laid Contribution- likea * monies, or any of them, or for any Tallies or other Receipts concerning the fame, or for illuing the faid yearly Fund of eight thoufand four hundred and fifty Pounds, or any Part thereof, or for paying the faid Annuities, or any of them ; and that no Fee or Gratuity (hall be demanded or taken for any fuch Tranf- fer, as aforefaid, of any Sum great or fmall, to be made in purfuance of this Aft, upon pain that any Of- ficer or Perfon offending, by taking or demanding any Fee or Gratuity contrary to this Ait, fhall forfeit the Sum of twenty Pounds to the Party grieved, to be recovered with full Colts, in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record at Wejlminflcr. XXV. Provided always, and it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That at any Time upon wlicn •'• ' one Year's Notice, and Repayment by Parliament of the Sum of one hundred fixty-nine thoufand Pounds, *"™'£^ .'.'. or fo much thereof as fhall be advanced upon this Ait, unto the refpeitive Contributors of the fame, or be rede ' n ~' to fuch Perfon and Perfons as by, from or under them, fhall be then entitled to the faid Annuities to beseco, Geo. i. purchafed on this Aft, after the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum', in refpeit of the Money fo c. 5. advanced, according to fuch Intereft as they refpeitively (hall then have in the fame Annuities, and alfo 10 Geo. 1. ft. j. upon full Payment and Satisfaction of all Arrears of the fame Annuities, after the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum, if any fhall be then due ; then and not till then, the faid Annuities, after the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum to be purchafed on this Ait, fhall ceafe and determine, and from thence- forth fo much of the General or Aggregate Fund in the faid recited Ait mentioned or referred unto, and of the faid particular Duties chargeable with thefe Annuities, as aforefaid, as the fame Annuities fhali amount unto, fhall be underftood to be redeemed by Parliament, but without prejudicing. any other of the yearly Sums or Payments by this or any other Aft charged or intended to be charged on the faid General or Aggregate Fund, or upon the faid particular Duties which fliall then remain to be fatisfied out of the fame ; any Thing herein contained to the contrary in any wife notwithstanding. XXVI. Provided always, and it is hereby enafted, That the Commissioners of the Treafury, or High The CalM" Treafurer for the Time being, fhall have Power to allow to the Cafhier or Cafhiers, who fhall receive the ^nt GotctsisV faid Contribution or Advance-money, not exceeding one hundred fixty-nine thoufand Pounds, as afore- Salary, &c. faid, for his or their Pains and Charges in receiving and accounting for the fame, a Sum not exceeding one hundred Pounds, out of the Contribution or Advance-money aforefaid ; and (hall alfo have Power (out of the Remainder of the faid yearly Sum of fifty-four thoufand fix hundred Pounds, to arife over and above fo much as fhall be fufficient, from Time to Time, to difcharge all Monies which fhall be due on the Annuities to be purchafed on this and the faid former Aft) to allow and pay to the faid Cafhier for the Time being, a Salary or Allowance, not exceeding one hundred Pounds per Annum, for receiving the Mo- ney to pay the Annuities upon this Aft, and applying the fame to that Ufe, and for his Pains and Charges in keeping and rendering his Accounts thereof; and a Salary or Allowance, not exceeding one hundred. Pounds per Annum to the faid Accountant General for the Time being, for his Service and Charge in per- forming the Duty and Truft incumbent upon him by this Aft; any Thing in this or any other Aft contain- ed to the contrary notwithilanding. XXVII. Provided always, and it is hereby enafted, That all and every Perfon and Perfons, v/ho have Additional er hath contributed or advanced any Sum or Sums of Money upon the faid former Aft for an Annuity, A il<,wance after the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum, and hath paid to the faid Cafhier the whole,, or one p^ J^.™^ Fifth, or any greater Part of the Contribution-money for purchafing fuch Annuity ; and all and every Perfon and Perfons who (hall contribute or advance any Sum or Sums of Money upon this or the faid for- mer Aft for the like Annuity, and (hall, on or before the twenty-ninth Day of September one thoufand fe- ven hundred and fifteen, pay to the faid Cafhier the whole, or one Fifth, or any greater Part of the Con- tribution or Confideration-money for fuch Annuity, fhall, over and above all other Encouragements be- fore by this or the faid former Aits given or allowable, be repaid out of any Monies which are or fhall be in the Hands of the faid Cafhier, arifen, or to arife by Contributions, for the U fe of the Publick, as afore- feid, not only fo much as an additional Allowance after the Rate of twenty Shillings per Centum, to be computed .
