And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the refpeftive Proprietors, who arc ^f t% a fute to have, receive and enjoy the faid feveral Annuities purfuant to this Aft, his, her or their Executes , !l Adminiftrators, Succeffors and Affigns refpeftively, fhall have good and fure Eitates and Intcrcfts therein for ever, fubjeft to the Provifoes or Conditions of Redemption in this Aft afterwards contained concerning the fame, and to no former Provifoes or Power of Redemption wh itfoevcr. XXVII. And it is hereby enafted, That as well the faid Annuities after the Rate of five Pounds per Annuities free Centum per Annum, payable in Lieu and Difcharge of the faid Lottery Orders, and of the faid annual Sums 1 "' "' i - : ' J - formerly charged upon the Excife, as alfo the faid Annuities to be purchafed on this Aft at the f . . XXVIII. And it is hereby declared and enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Governor and Bank to employ Company of the Bank of England fhall, from Time to Time, until the faid Annuities fliall be redeemed by^j?"^ Parliament according to this Aft, appoint and employ one fufficient Perfon within their Office in the City Acc0 u nt ", Iit ^London, to be their Chief or firft" Cafliier, and one other fufficient Perfon within the fame Office to be general, their Accountant General ; and that fo much of the Monies of the faid general yearly Fund ot feven hundred twenty-four thoufand eight hundred forty-nine Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence and one fifth Part of a Penny per Annum, as fliall be fufficient to fatisfy and difcharge the Sums which (hall grow due, from 7 ime to Tim:, for or upon all the faid feveral and refpeftive Annuities by this Aft. appointed or intended to be paid by the faid Cafliier of the Bank for the-Time .being, fliall by Order of the Commiffioners of the Treafury, or any three or more of them, or of the High Treafurer, and Under Treafurer of the Exchequer of his Majefty, bis Heirs and Succeffors, for the Time being, without any further or other Warrant to be fued for, had or obtained in that Behalf, be from Time to Time, quarterly, as aforefaid, iffued and paid at the faid Receipt of Exchequer to the faid firft or chief Cafliier of the faid Governor and Company of the Tilcir ORia, Bank of England, and of their Succeffors for the Time being, by way of Impreft and upon Account, for the Payment of the lame Annuities at fuch Times, and in fuch Mannerand Form, as are by this Aft pre- ferred in that Behalf, with Preference to all other Payments which fhall or may hereafter be charged upon * the faid General Fund, or upon the faid. Duties or Revenues liable to make good the fame, until the Re- demption of the faid Annuities according to this Aft; and that all and every fuch Cafliier or Cafhiers, to whom the faid Monies fhall from Time to Time be iffued, fliall, from Time to Time, without Delay, -apply and pay the fame accordingly, and render his Accounts thereof, according to the due Courfe of the Exchequer; any Thing herein contained to the contrary. notwithstanding.
