bring his, her or their Action of Debt, or upon the Cafe, for the fame, againft the faid Governor and Company of the Bank of England, or their SuccefTors, in which Action the Perfon or Perfons fo bringing the fame {hall and may declare, That the faid Governor and Company of the Bank of Englcnd are 'indebt- ed to the Plaintiff or Plaintiffs therein the Money demanded upon the faid Bill or Bills, according to the Form of this Statute, and have not paid the fame; which fhall be fufficient; and the Plaintiff or Plaintiffs in fuch Action or Actions fhall recover againft the faid Governor and Company of the Bank of England, Wager of Lawfhal! be allowed, of more than one Imparlance.

Thefe Annuities XVI. John Baptift one thoufand feven hundred and feventeen, and all the Monies then remaining iaineJ C ° n " ' n ^" a '^ R ece 'P r 5 of the Same Rates, Duties, Revenues, or Incomes, shall be difpofable to and for the feveral and refpective Ufes and Purpofes by this Act appointed, and fubject to the feveral Provifoes of Re- demption herein contained; any former Law, Statute, Provifion, Reftriction, Claufes of Appropriation, or other Claufes, Matter or Thing whatfoever to the contrary notwithftanding; and that all the Monies i of the laid particular Rates and Duties on Houfes, and of the faid aggregate Fund, or other Duties by this and entred in Act required to be brought into the Exchequer as aforefaid, fhall b a duly and fairly entred in one or more Books in the Book or Books to be kept in the Offices of the Auditor of the Receipt and Clerk of the Pells, for that Exchequer. Purpofe; to which all Perfons concerned, at all feafonable Times, fhall have free Accefs without Fee or Charge. All the Duties, XVIII. And it is hereby alfo enacted, That all the Monies of the said Rates, Duties, Revenues and &c. appropriated Incomes, which fhall or ought to be brought into the Receipt of the Exchequer for the faid Purpofes in fh^AdV" °' t ^ 1 ' s ^^ directed (except the neceffary Charges for railing, collecting, levying, iffuing, paying and ac- counting for the fame) fhall be and are hereby appropriated, and fhall be iffued and applied, as well to and for the Payment and Satisfaction of fo much as at or before the faid Feaft of the Nativity of St. John Baptift in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and eighteen fhall grow due or be in Arrear to the faid Governor and Company, for or upon their faid yearly Sum of one hundred and fix thoufand five hundred and one Pounds thirteen Shillings and five Pence; and to and for the Payment and Satisfaction of fo much as at or before the faid Feaft of the Birth of our Lord Chrift one thoufand feven hundred and feventeen fhall be due or demanded for the faid Intereft, after the Rate of two Pence per Centum per Diem, upon alitor any the faid Exchequer-bills, amounting to four Millions Jive hundred fixty-one thoufand twenty-five Pounds; and fo much as at or before the faid Feaft of the Birth of our Lord Chrift one thou-, fand (even hundred and feventeen fhall quarterly grow due and be in Arrear to the faid Governor and Com- pany, tor or upon their faid Allowances of forty-five thoufand Pounds per /inmmi, and eight thoufand Pounds p'er Annum,; and for and upon their faid Allowance of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, for circulating the faid Bills; as alfo for anfwering and difcharging all the growing Payments which fhall here- after incur and grow due to them for or upon the faid Annuities or Sums of eighty-eight thoufand feven hundred fifty-one Pounds feven Shilling? and ten Pence Half-penny, one hundred thoufand Pounds^ and feventy-fix thoufand eight hundred and thirty Pounds fifteen Shillings per Annum, and the faid other An- nuities
