C. 9. 137 Damages after the Rate of ten Pounds per Centum per Annum for the Monies fo unpaid contrary to this Act, befides full Cofts of Suit ; and the (aid Governor and Company of Merchants of Great Britain, and their Succeffors, and their capital Stocks and Funds, fhall be and are hereby made fubject and liable there- unto. V. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Governor and Company &fCompany to Merchants of Great Britain, and their Succeffors, for every Sum which they fhall advance for or in Pari ' ' f et of the faid Sum of two Millions, fhall have, receive and enjoy, and be entitled, by Force and Virtue of" [" ,?■ this Act, to have, receive and enjov an Annuity alter the Kate or five rounds per Centum per Annum for advance, ever, fubject nevcrthelefs to the Prdvifo of Redemption herein after contained in that Behalf; and that every fuch Annuity after the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum for the Money fo o be ad van e ', lhall be charged upon, and fhall be paid and payable, from Time to Time, out of the Monies which find!, from Time to Time, atife by the aforefaid Duties, Impofitioris, additional Impositions and Revenues, arid all proportional Parts of th 'in, and every or any of them, over and above fo much as fhall be fufficient to pay off and fatisfy all the Monies which ihall at any Time or Times be grown due and incurred for or up- on the faid yearly Sums of fix hundred thoufand Pounds, and eight thoufand Pounds, until and for the Quarter which fhall end upon the Feaft-day of the Nativity of St. John Bafrtiji one thoufand feven hun- dred and eighteen; and from thenceforth for or upon the faid yearly Fund of five hundred thoufand Pound;, and for and upon the faid yearly Sum of eight, thoufand Pounds, and either of them ; and that fuch An- nuity or Annuities tor fuch Monies fo to be advanced fhall be paid and payable to the /aid Governor and Company of Merchants of Great Britain, and their Succeffors, in manner following, that is to fay, the Hrft Payment or Payments of fuch new Annuity or , Annuities, after the Rate of five Pounds per 6V«/z;/« Times of Pay- ■per Annum, fhall be computed by the Day, and fatisfied from the Day or refpective Days on which t'ne mcnt> laid two Millions, or any Part or Parts thereof, lhall be advanced as aforefaid, until the quarterly Feaft- day or refpective quarterly Feaft-days then next enfuing ; and from thenceforth the fame new Annuity or Annuities of five Pounds per Centum per Annum fhall be paid and payable at the four molt ufual Feafts or Days of Payment in the Year before-mentioned, by even and equal Portions.
