' XXXIV. And whereas the fail Governor and Company of Merchants of Great Britain, are already ' intitled, by virtue of former Acts of Parliament in that Behalf, to feveral yearly Sums amounting to ' nine thoufand three hundred ninety-feven Pounds nine Shillings and fix Pence per Annum, for Charges ' of Management, and it is intended that they, and their Succeflbrs, fhall have a further Allowance for ' Charges of Management of fo much as it now colts the Publick for the annual Charge of paying, affign- ' ing, and accounting for the Annuities and Debts by this Act intended to be tak n in or paid off, or fo ' much of them as fhall be actually taken in or paid off, purfuant to this A£t :' Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the laid Commiffioners of the Treafury, or any three or more of them, A proportional or the High Treafurer for the Time being, fhall with all convenient Speed caufe an Account or Eftimate Addltion ,0 bc to be taken and made up of the whole annual Coft to the Publick of paying, afligning, and accounting for Pornnan ' re- al 1 the Annuities and Debts of what kind foever, computed or fpecified in this Act, as aforefaid^ (whe- r e , ]t Allowance thcr they fhall or not be all taken in or paid off) and upon his or their receiving the above-mentioned tor Charges of Accounts, or Duplicates thereof, from the faid Managers and Directors to be conftituted in purfuance of Management., this Act, from Time to Time fhall compute and allow, and caufe to be computed and allowed to the fame Governor and Company, a Proportion of the faid Cofts for the Annuities and Debts then appearing to be actually taken in or paid off; that is to fay, As the Sum of eleven millions feven hundred forty-fix thoufand eight hundred forty-four Pounds eight Shillings and ten Pence (being their prefent capital Stock] is to the faid yearly Sum of nine thoufand three hundred ninety-feven Pounds nine Shillings and fix Pence,, (being their prefent Allowance for Management) fo the Stock which they are to have for the Annuities and Debts by every fuch Account or Duplicate thereof, appearing to be taken in or paid off, fhall be to. the proportional Sum which fhall be allowed to the fame Corporation towards their Charges, fo as all the proportional Sums laft mentioned do not exceed the whole of one Year's Coft for paying, affigning, and accounting for all the Annuities and Debts before-mentioned ; and the proportional Sums fo to be allow- ed, fhall from Time to Time be fpecified in the faid refpedtive Inftruments, under the Hands and Seals of the faid Commiflioners of the Treafury, or any three or more of them, or the High Treafurer for the Time being, and fhall refpectively commence from the refpective Time or Times at which the to be increafed Annuity and Annuities to the fame Governor and Company, or the proportional Parts thereof, fhall commence in purfuance of this Act. XXXV. ' Duties, Revenues and Incomes by this Act charged or intended to be charged to and with the Payment of the faid prefent Annuity or yearly Fund of the fame Governor and Company, and of the faid feveral Additions to be male thereunto, as aforefaid ; any Thing in this or any former Act or Acts of Parliament contained to the contrary notwithftanding. XXXVI. And for better fecuring to the faid Governor and Company of Merchants' of Great Bri- Ail the Duties; tain, and their Succeflbrs, all the Payments intended to be made to them, by virtue or in purfuance of' 1 j ld R( -* ven ."" this Act; Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all and every the above-mentioned Du-tj,* Company's ties and Revenues whatfoever by this Act charged or intended to be charged to or with the Payment of the yearly Fund, &-c. Annuity or yearly Fund of the fame Governor and Company, and the Additions to. be made thereunto, as 5 be brought aforefaid, and to or with the Payment of the faid yearly Sum of nine thoufand three hundred ninety-feven "? f0 the Ex " Pounds nine Shillings and fix Pence, and the Additions for Charges of Management to be made there- c e<iuer > unto, as aforefaid, (whether the fame Duties or Revenues, or any of them, be fuch at were granted in Perpetuity by any former Act or Acts of Parliament, or be continued in Perpetuity by Virtue of this Act) fhall from Time to Time be raifed, levied and collected, and all the Monies arifing thereby (except the neceflary Charges of raifing, collecting, levying, and paying the fame into the Exchequer in England) accord ing to 1 lie fhall from Time to Time be brought and paid into the fame Exchequer by and according to the Rules, Directions of Methods and Directions, and with fuch Drawbacks, Repayments and Allowances, and under fuch Pe- formet Afls J, nalties, Forfeitures and Difabilities, as are prefcribed by the faid former Act or Acts of Parliament re- fpectively, or referred unto by this Act, for raifing, levying, collecting or bringing in the fame, as fully, and effectually, as if the fame Rules, Methods, Directions,. Drawbacks, Repayments, Allowances, Pe- nalties, Forfeitures and Difabilities, and every of them, were in and by this Act particularly repeated and. re-enacted ; and that all the Monies which fhall be fo brought into the faid receipt, from Time to Time, t0 1,e entred in of or for the faid Duties and Revenues refpectively, fhall be fairly and diftinctly entred and regiflred in .one*! 00 ,. of th f - Of more.
