An Aft for making more cfVeftual an Aetna/led in the fourth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George, intituled, An Ail for reparing the Highways from Maiden- head Bridge to Sunning-Lane-End, next to Twyford, in the Road to Reading; and from the faid Bridge to Hertly Bridge in the County of Berks. 4. An Aft for repairing the Road leading from Chatteris Ferry, which divides the Ifle of Ely from the County of Huntingdon, to Hammond's Eau, and from thence to So- merjham Bridge, at Somerfiam Town's end, in the faid County.

An Act for enlarging the Term granted by an Aft made in the twelfth Year of the Reign of her late Majefty Queen Anne, for repairing the Highways between the Bear-Inn in Reading, and Puntfieldm the County of Berks, and for making the faid Aft more effeftual, and for amending other Roads in this Aft mentioned. 8. An Aft for granting an Aid to his Majefty by Sale of Annuities to the Bank of England, at four Pounds per Centum, redeemable by Parliament, and charged upon the Duties on Coals and Culm ; and for further applying the Produce of the Sinking Fund ; and for enlarging the Time for exchanging Nevis and St. Chriftophsrs Deben- tures for Annuities at three per Centum, and for applying the Arrears of his late Majefty's Civil Lift Revenues. 9. An Aft for granting an Aid to his Majefty of five hun- dred thoufand Pounds, towards difcharging Wages due to Seamen, and for the conftant, regular, and punftual Pay- ment of Seamens Wages for the future ; and for appro- priating the Supplies granted in this prefent Seffion of Parliament ; and for difpofing of the Surplus of the Mo- ney granted for half Pay for the Year 1727. 10. An Aft for the more effeftual amending the Highway between Hokliffe and Woburn, in the County of Bedford; and for repairing the Road leading through Woburn to Tickford Bridge in Newport Pagnell, in the County of Bucks. n. An Aft for repairing and amending feveral Roads lead- ing to and from the Borough of Eve/ham, in the County of JVorcefler. 12. An Aft for repairing and enlarging the Road leading from the Houfe called the Sign of the Bells in the Parifh of St. Margaret in Rochefter, to Maid/lone, and other Roads therein mentioned, in the County of Kent. 13. An Aft to oblige Ships coming, from Places infefted, more effeftually to perform their Quarentine ; and for the better preventing the Plague being brought from Foreign Parts into Great Britain or Ireland, or the Ifles oiGucrn- fey, jferfey, Alderney, Sark or Man ; and to .hinder the fpreading of Infeftion. 14. An Aft for encouraging Seamen to enter into his Ma- jafty's Service. 15. An Aft for making Provifion for the Reftor of the. New Church, fituate near Millbank, in the Parifh of Sr. Margaret, Wejhninfter, and for other Purpofes therein mentioned. 16.
