XX. And it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the feveral and refpective Sum and Moni « howap- Sums of Money, as Shall arife by Virtue of this Act, for the faid reduced Duties upon Beaver-Skins im- P r0 P" ated - ported, and for fuch Pepper delivered out of the Warehoufes for Home Confumption, and for the faid reduced Duties upon Mace, Cloves, and Nutmegs imported (the neceffary Charges of Manage- ment excepted) are and Shall be appropriated and applied to and for the fame refpective Ufes, and in fuch qr the like Proportions, Manner and Form, and fubject to fuch refpective Powers of Redemption, as the prefent Duties upon Beaver-Skins, Pepper, Mace, Cloves and Nutmegs, at or before the making of this Ait, were by any Act or Acts of Parliament in Force refpectively appropriated and applicable ; and that all the Powers, Directions, Penalties, Forfeitures, Claufes, Matters and Things, contained in any Ail Continuance of or Acts of Parliament for appropriating and applying the faid prefent Duties upon Beaver-Skins, Pepper, t . he Powcrs in M.'ce, Cloves and Nutmegs, every or any of them, 'Shall be continued, practised and put in Execution, tormer Acts j°r for appropriating and applying the Monies to ariSe by Virtue of.this.A6t, for and upon the faid refpective Duties'."' 11 " 15 Duties upon Beaver-Skins, Pepper, Mace, Cloves and Nutmegs, according to this Act, as fully and ef- fectually as if the fame were again repeated and re-enacted in the Body of this prefent Act; any Law or Cuftom to the contrary notwithstanding. XXI. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That from and after the Drawbacks upon faid twenty-fifth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-two, upon Exportation of any Ex P oruti °n »>«  of the faid Mace, Cloves or Nutmegs or any of them, within the Time allowed by Law, for which the Macc > ,S:c - Duties chargeable by this Act Shall have been firlt paid or fecured, there Shall be allowed certain Draw- backs, as (hall bear fuch or the like Proportion to the .Sums charged by this Act upon Mace,- Cloves and Nutmegs refpectively, as the former Drawbacks allowable on Mace, Cloves and Nutmegs exported re- fpectively did bear to the Duties thereupon, before the making of this Act and no more; which propor- tional Drawbacks Shall be made and allowed, according to fuch Rules and Methods as Drawbacks are al- lowed by any Laws now in Force relating to the Cuftoms. • i XXIi.
