' hundred and nineteen, a Report, figned by feven of the faid Commiflioners, was prefented to the then Report 19 Feb. ' the" faid nineteenth Day of February one thoufand feven hundred and nineteen, prefented to the then ' Houfe of Commons by the faid Commiflioners, and the fame do amount to a very confiderable Value 8 i" the Whole, not comprehended in the faid Sum of three hundred eighty-four thoufand nine hundred c and fifty Pounds fix Shillings and three Pence three Farthings per Annum ; and it is higly probable that ' feveral Perfons, v/ho, fince the making of the Act laft in Part before recited, ought to have regiftred ' their Eftates, have wholly neglected fo to do, or have not duly and faithfully regiftred the fame, and ' have been guilty of fuch Omiflions, Frauds and Concealments, that the true Values of the Eftates of ' Papifts regiftred or not regiftred, or the two third Parts of them, or any of them, cannot as yet be af-

  • certained : And whereas it is notorious, that fince the making of the faid A£ts in Part before recited,
  • the Papifts and their Abettors, or many of them, have given feveral frefh Inftances of their Readinefs

' and Zeal in forming Plots and Confpiracies, and in fomenting and ftirring up Rebellions and Difturb- ' ances for the wicked Ends and Purpofes above mentioned, which Confpiracies and Difturbances have ' brought a further great Expence and Burden upon your Majefty's good Subjects ; and therefore it is ' thought reafonable, that in Satisfaction of fuch Share as they ought to contribute towards the extraor- ' dinary Expences brought upon this Kingdom, and in Lieu of the two third Parts of the Rents and Pro- , ' fits of the faid Eftates to grow due to your Majefty within and for one Year, commencing from the 1 ' twenty-fifth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-three, and all Arrears of the faid i ' two third Parts incurred or to be incurred before the faid twenty-fifth Day of March one thoufand (even 'i ' hundred and twenty-three, and in Lieu of all fuch Penalties and Forfeitures as are hereafter in and by ' this Act intended to be difcharged, there fhall be raifed, levied and collected the full Sum of one hun-
