III. PremifTes, and to inveft them with full Power to receive the Rents, Iffues and Profits thereof, and to give Receipts, Difcharges and Acquittances for the fame, and to hold Courts, and to do and perform all Acts, Matters and Things neceffary for the managing the faid Premiffes, ufually done and performed by Stewards, Receivers and Bailiffs, and alfo to affign and allow fuch Salaries and Rewards to the faid Stewards, Receivers and Bailiffs, as the faid Commiffioners or Governors of the faid Royal Hofpital for the time being, or any feven or more of them, fhall think requifite and neceffary in that Behalf, V. And be it further enacted, That it fhall and may be lawful to and for his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, from time to time, during the Continuance of the faid Eftate and Intereft of his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, in the faid Premiffes, to authorize and impower the Commiffioners and Govern- . ors of the faid Royal Hofpital for the time being, to grant Leafes of the Premiffes fo forfeited and vefted Leafes.^ in his Majefty as aforefaid, or of any Part or Parts thereof, unto any Perfon or Perfons for any Term or Number of Years not exceeding twenty-one Years, to take Effect in Poffeffion and not in Reverfion, fo as there be referved to continue payable during the Terms in fuch Leafes to be granted the beft and moft improved yearly Rent and Rents that can be had or gotten for the fame, without taking any Fine, Premium or free Gift, and fo as there be contained in all fuch Leafes a Condition of Re-entry for Non- T ^ Conditions payment of the Rent and Rents thereby refpectively to be referved, and fo as the refpefHve heffees exe- cute Counterparts of all fuch Leafes, and fo as no Claufe be contained in any of the faid Leafes, giv- ing Power to any Leffee to commit Wafte, or exempting him, her or them fiomPunifhment for commut- ing the fame. VI. ' fore-mentioned (except the faid Annuity of one hundred Pounds a Year)' Provided therefore, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fhall and may be lawful for the Attorney General How Sals* we of his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, by his or their Direction, or for the faid feveral Mortgagees and t0 l5cmade > Incumbrancers herein before named, their Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns, or any of them, to Sn 25 Gcs.i, <■•■ apply to his Majefty's Court of Exchequer at Wejlminjler, by Motion in a fummary Way, for the Sale + a> of the abfolute Fee-fimple and Inheritance of fuch Part or Parts of the faid Barony, Manors, Lordfhips, - Meffuages, Farms, Lands, Tenements, Tithes and Hereditaments, charged with the faid refpective Incumbrances, as fhall be fufficient for the Difcharge thereof, to any Perfon or Perfons being Proteftants, upon which Motion it fnail and may be lawful to and for the faid Court of Exchequer to make fuch Or- ■ der or Orders, and give fuch Directions for fuch Sale or Sales, as the faid Court lhall think proper, and for caufmg publick Notice to be given thereof, as is ufual in Cafes of Eftates directed to be fold by De- crees in Courts of Equity, and to make and give fuch other Orders and Directions therein, as to that Court in their Difcretion fhall feem juft; and the Money arifing by fuch Sale or Sales fhall be applied by the Direction of the faid Court to the Difcharge of the faid Incumbrances ; and in cafe there fhall hap- pen to be any Surplus of the faid Purchafe Money, the fame fhall be applied for the Benefit of the faid Hofpital; and upon Payment and Application of fuch Purchafe Money as aforefaid, one or more Grant or Grants, Affurance or Affurances of fuch Parts and Parcels of the faid Eftates as fhall be fo fold and paid for as aforefaid, fhall be made and paffed under the Great Seal of Great Britain to every fuch Pur- chafer or Purchafers, his, her or their Heirs and Affigns ; and all and every Perfon and Perfons making any fuch Purchafe, and having any fuch Grant or Grants, Affurance or Affurances, as aforefaid, lhall, from the Time of the making fuch Grant or Grants, Affurance or Affurances, be, and are hereby ad- judged to be feifed of and intitled to the abfolute Fee-fimple, and in the actual Poffeffion of fuch Part and Parts of the faid Premiffes as fhall be fo purchafed and conveyed.
