L An Act for continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry in that Part of Great Britain called England; and for granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and thirty- eight. EXP. CAP. II. An Act for punifhing Mutiny and Defertion, and for the better Payment of the Army and their Quarters. EXP. CAP. III. An Act for repairing the Road leading from the Trent Bridge in the County of the Town of Nottingham, through Coftock, otherwife Cortlingflock Lane, to the Bridges commonly known by the Name of Cotes Bridges, in the County of Leicejler. P R. Certain Tolls are granted from 10 May 17Z8, for 21 Years. CAP. IV. An Act for laying a Duty of Two Pennies Scots, or one fixth Part of a Penny Sterling, upon every Scots Pint of Ale and Beer which (hall be brewed for Sale, brought into, vended, tapped or fold within the Town of Aberbrothock, and Liberties thereof. P R. The Duty is granted from 1 May 1738, for 25 Years, &Y. CAP. V. An Act for taking down and rebuilding the Church of the Parifh of All Saints in the City oiWorcefter. PR. CAP. VI. An Act for enlarging the Term and Powers granted by two Acts of Parliament, one of the third, and the other of the tenth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, For repairing the Highways from that. Part ^/"Counters Bridge which lies in the Parijh of Kenfington, in the 'County of"m&- dlefex, leading through the Towns of Brentford and Hounflo.".', to the Powder Mills in the Road to Staines, and to Cranford Bridge in the /aid County, in the Road to Colnbrooke. PR. The Tolls are farther continued for 21 Years, and to the End of the next Seflion of Parliament. CAP. VII. An Act; for continuing the Term and Powers granted and given by the Acts paffed in the eleventh and twelfth Years of the Reign of King William the Third, and in the ninth and tenth Years of the Reign of his late Majefty King George, for repairing the Har- bour of Dover in the County of Kent ; and for reftoring the Harbour of Rye in the County of Suffix, to its ancient Goodnefs. PR. J HE R E A S an Act of Parliament paffed in the ninth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George, intituled, An Act for compleating the Repairs of the Harbour of Dover, in the County of Kent ; and for reftoring the Harbour of Rye in the County of Sufox, to its ancient Goodnefs, reciting, That an Act was made in the eleventh and twelfth Years of the Reign of his late Majefty King William the Third, for the Repair of the faid Harbour of Dover; and that a Duty of three Pence per Ton was thereby laid upon all fuch Ships and Veffels as are in the faid laft-mentioned Act defcribed, for rai- fing a Sum of Money therein mentioned ; which faid Duty was to commence from the firft Day of May, which was in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred, and to have Continuance till the firft Day of May, which was in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and nine ; and alfo reciting, That the faid laft-mentioned Act was, by another Act made in the Second Year of the Reign of her late Majefty Queen Anne, continued from the thirtieth Day of April one thoufand feven hundred and nine, until the firft Day of May one thoufand. feven hundred and eighteen ; and ' likewife
