And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Courfe of Water or Ditch, Property of •and to all Lords of Manors and others, their feveral accuftomed Rights to fiih therein, and to all refpeaiye Owners and Occupiers of Land adjoining to, or lying near the faid Ditch, and to all Perfons having Ri S nts - Right of Common in the common Meadows lying near or adjoining thereunto, their respective Rights ot palling as ufual through or over the fame Ditch at the ui'ual Ford, an J to water their Horfcs and Cattle therein as ufual, doing no Damage to the faid Governor and Company's Works. XII. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no new Mill, Lock or Weir (hall hereafter be erected on the faid River Lee, or any Branch thereof, between the Mpu:h of Manifold Ditch and Ware-mills, or on the faid Manifold Ditch. XIII. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Perfon or Perfons (hall at any Prohibition ta time or times caft or put into the faid Water-courfe or Ditch, called Manifold Ditch, or the faid Cut dD any Damage between the fame, and the faid New River, or into the faid New River, or any of the Water-courfes, [u™i o'rtic Canals, Ponds, Refervatories or Pipes already made or laid, or hereafter to be made or laid, for die Work's thereon. Conveyance or Paffage of the Water from the fame, or any Part or Parts of the faid City of London, or Suburbs thereof, or to any Part or Parts of the faid City of Wejlminjler, or Liberties thereof, any Filth, Rubbifh, Soil, dead Dogs, dead Cats, dead Carcafes, Carrion or other unwholfome Thing ; or warn. or cleanfe . therein any Wool, Hemp, Flax or other noifome Thing; nor hinder, let, flop, draw off, turn or divert the faid Water, or the Current or Paffage thereof, by any Device, Art, Contrivance or Means whatfoever, without the Licence or Confent of the faid Governor and Company ; nor do any Damage, Nuiiance or Annoyance to the laid Lock or Ciftern, Weir or Jettey, Gage or Trough, Turn- pikes or Tumbling-bays, or other Buildings or Erections aforefaid, or to the faid Water-courfe or Ditch, or to the faid Cut between the fame and the New River, or to the faid Nw River, or any the Water-courfes, Canals, Ponds, Refervatories, Pipes, Banks or Bridges of or belonging to the fame. XIV. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Proprietors and Occupiers of the Water to he faid Mills, called Ware-mills, (hall for ever hereafter permit and fuffer the ufual Quantity of Water to be fupplied from Jet out from the Head of Water at Ware-mills, from the faid River Lee, at proper and convenient ^a^'i"^^ '" Times and Seafons as heretofore, to run through the faid Town of Ware, for the cleanfing and pre- Town of Ware. ferving tire Streets and Highways leading through the faid Town; the ufual and former Exemptions of Parifh and other Duties, Rates and Offices, and the former Payments and Allowances for the fame, being from time to time continued and made to and for the Proprietors and Occupiers of the faid Mills, and the Premiffes by them held and enjoyed. XV. And for the better eftablifhing the Remedies, which as well the faid Governor and Company New River- may have againft any Perfon or Perfons, or which any Perfon or Perfons may have againft them ; Be Company im* it declared and enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Governor and Company fhall, by the P > °^cute t °&e. Name of the Governor and Company of the New River, brought from Chadwell and Amwell to London (which Name is originally given them by their Charter) fue and implead, be fued and impleaded, an» fwer and be anfwered in all Courts of Record and elfewhere ; and fhall and may recover full Satisfaction for any Damage accruing by any Matter or Thing which (hall be done contrary to this Act, in or by i an Action of Trefpafs, or on the Cafe ; and, in cafe they recover in fuch Action, fhall be paid their full Cofts of Suit, and have the like Remedies for the fame as in other Cafes of Colts. XVI. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Tmflees no- Recorder of the City of London for the time being, the Knights of the Shire for the County of Mid- minated. dlefex for the time being, the Members of Parliament for the City of We/lminfter for the time being, Walter Plainer, Richard Plumer, Efquires; Sir Robert Grofueno); Sk Nathaniel Curzon, Sir William Heath- cote, Baronets ; John Smart, Efquire, Rivers Dickinfon, Gentleman, Sir Jeremy Vanacker Sambroeke, Baronet, Jofeph Gafcoigne Nightingale, Harry Gough, ' Ralph Harwood, Daniel Brattle, Hugh Smithfou, John Francis Tyfen,' Samuel Tyffen, Samuel Trench, Efquires ; Zacheus Haydon, Gentleman, William Pul- tenev, John Hambleton, George Bourne, Efquires ; the Right Honourable Henry Lord Colraine in the Kingdom of Ireland, the Knights of the Shire for the County of Eff'cx for the time being, the Mem- bers of Parliament for the Borough of Colchejler for the time being, Sir Edward Smyth, Sir Cafar Child, Baronets; Charles Wake Jones, John Abdy, Edivard Conyers, Andrew Searle, Junior, Richard Lockwood, Peyton Altham, Richard Staines, Thomas Archer, John Comyns, Peter Plover, William Harvey, Senior, William Glafcock, Robert Snell, John Badger Weller, 'Richard Morgan, Efquires; Richard Collar d, William Pkbourne, John Kempe, John Rochefter, Gentlemen ; the Knights of the Shire for the County of Plert quires ; the Mayor of Hertford for the time being, Thomas Martin, Robert Plomen Efquires ; and George Hathaway, Gentleman, fhall be and are hereby nominated Truftees for the putting m Execution the Powers and Trufts in them repofed, by virtue or in purfuance of this Act, for the Purpofes herein expreffed ; and that the faid Truftees, or any ten or more of them, (hall firft meet and affemble together Truftees when at the Houfe known by the Sign of the Old Crown at Ware, on Monday the iixth Day of Augujl one and whereto fhoufand feven hundred and thirty-nine : and alfo yearly, and every Year thereafter, on the fab.
