Provided always, and be it enadted by the Authority aforefaid, That all the Monies coming into Application of the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one Adt of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, the Supplies j An Ail for granting an Aid to his Majejly by a Land Tax, to be raijed in Great Britain, for the Service of the by the Land Year one thoufand J even hundred and forty-five; and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby Tax ; granted, as ihall arife or remain, after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Adt, and all the Intereft, Premium, Rate andjCharges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for rai- fing the faid Land Tax, fhall be fatisficd, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exchequer to dis- charge the fame; and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer, either by Loans or Exchequer Bills, upon one other Adt of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled. An Ac! for continuing the Ditties upon Malt, by Duties 30 Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part a/Great Britain called England, and for granting to his Majejly certain Malt > S:c - Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-five ; and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Duties thereby granted, as fliall arife or remain after all the Loans or Exchequer Bills made, or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Premium, Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby al- lowable for raifing the faid Duties, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exche- quer to difcharge the fame; and alfo all the Monies coming into the Exchequer by Loans, upon one Other Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Act for granting and continuing the Duties upon Salt y by Duties on and upon Red arid White Herrings, for the further Term of fix Years ; and for declaring that the Duties on Salt; Salt, which arife and are payable in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, Jhall be J'ubjcct to the fame Charges thereon, as the fame Duties ivere liable to by the Act of the fifth Year of the Reign of his late Majejly King George the Fir/i ; and alfo all the Monies coming into the Exchequer by Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, and by Contributions by way of a Lottery, upon one other Act of this Seffion ot" Parliament, intituled, An Act for granting to his Majejly feveral additional Duties upon all " L, 5 r Duties on Wines imported into Great Britain ; and for raifing a certain Sum of Money by Annuities and a Lottery, in w ' n « ""portea j Manner therein mentioned, to be charged on the faid additional Duties; and the Sum of twenty-one thoufand snt i /Lottery"-^ two hundred and forty-four Pounds thirteen Shillings and eight Pence three Farthings, remaining in the by 21,244 ).' ' Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, of the Surplus of the Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, 1 3 s. s d. three granted for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-three; and alfo the Sum of Far,h,n E sSu '- eight hundred thoufand Pounds by this Act granted, fhall be further appropriated and applied, and are sz££jJot/$y hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein after expreffed (that is (hls^Aft uaj&4. to fay) it is hereby enacted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies aforefaid, there fliall and may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding two million two hundred ninety-two thoufand four hundred feventy-nine Pounds nine Shillings and ten Pence, for or towards the Naval Services herein after more particularly expreiled ; (that is to fay) For or towards defraying the Charge of the Ordinary of his Majefty's Navy, and for -Half-pay to Sea Officers, and for or towards Victuals, Wages, Wear and Tear of the Navy, and the Victualling thereof, performed and to be per- formed, and for or towards Sea Services in the Office of Ordnance performed and to be performed ; and for or towards building an Hofpital near Portfmonth, and purchafing Land on which the fame is to be erected, and the neceffary Walling attending the fame, for the Vear one thoufand feven hundred forty-five. XIII.
