P R. The Act 12 Geo. i. c. 6. continued for zi Years. CAP. XXXIII. An A<5t to repeal a Claufe in an Act: made in the third Year of the Reign of King William and Queen Mary, relating to Carts ufed by Perfons inhabiting within the Limits of the weekly Bills of Mortality, and to allow fuch Carts to be drawn with three Horfes ; and to prevent the Misbehaviour of the Drivers of Carts in Streets within the faid Limits. WHEREAS in and by an Act made and paffed in the third and fourth Years of the Reign of 3 & 4 W. & M, their late Majefties King William and Mary, intituled, An Ail for the better repairing and c> I2- amending the Highways, and for fettling the Rates of Carriage of Goods ; it was enatled, That all and •every Law and Statute then in Force, for or touching the enlarging, repairing or amending Highways and common Roads, and every Article and Thing in them contained, and not therein, and thereby al- tered and repealed, fliould be duly put in Execution, according to the Tenor of the faid Laws, and under the Penalties therein contained, to be raifed, levied and difpofed of, as in and by the faid Laws is directed ; and divers good and wholefome Rules, Provifions and Directions are thereby made, enact- ed, appointed and ordained, for the better repairing and amending the Highways within this Kingdom ; jW.tH.c.M, in which faid Act there is contained and inferted a Claufe or Provifo, in the Words following; that is §• I0 - to fay, Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fliall and may be lawful to and for any Inhabitant of any of the Pariflies, within the weekly Bills of Mortality, who dwells off Vol. VI. 4 ML ' from
