An Act to raife the Militia of that Part of Great Britain called England, although the Month's Pay for- merly advanced hath not yet been repaid ; and to raife fuch Part of the faid Militia as fhall be judged moft proper, ready, and convenient. EXP. " His Majefty may order the Militia to be drawn out into actual Service, at any Time before 30 A/o- " vember 1746. Each Soldier to be provided with one Month's Pay in Hand. The Militia of any " City, Town, &c, to march within that Time, as ordered by the King, and the Pay, &c. advanced " to be repaid in fix Months by Affeflment." CAP. III. An Act for granting an Aid to his Majefty by a Land Tax to be raifed in Great Britain, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-fix. EXP. At 4 s. in the Pound. CAP. IV. An Act for continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called England; and for granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and forty-fix. EXP. C A P. V. An Act to enable his Majefty to make Rules, Orders and Regulations, more effectually to prevent the fpreading of theDiftemper which now rages amongft the horned Cattle in this Kingdom. His Majefty, with the Advice of his Privy Council, to make fuch Rules from Time to Time, as he fhall judge moil expedient, in Great Britain, Ireland, &c. for prohibiting the removing or Sale, isle, of diftem- pered Cattle ; and alio for the Burial of the Beafts that die, or are killed whilft infected. The Regulations to be notified as his Majefty fhall think proper; and read the firft Sunday after the Receipt and every Month while in Force, in all Churches, &c. after Prayers. The Orders, csY. to be kept by theMinifter, 'iyc. for Infpection of the Parifhioners, iyc His Majefty by Proclamation, may prohibit the Importation or Exportation of Cattle, Hides, £sfc. Perfons convi<3ed of offending before a Juftice of Peace, to forfeit fol. or be committed for three Months. Perfons offending in other Parts of the King's Dominions, to be punifned as guilty of a great Mifdemeanor. Perfons convicted before a Juftice, may appeal to the next Sefiions, giving Notice to the Juftice, &t. and Security for Cofts. This Act and all Rules made thereon, to. be in Force for eight Months, and to the End of the then next Seflion.
