C. 12. 655 lating to his Majefty's Revenue of Excife upon Beer, Ale, or other Liquars, are provided, fettled or eftablifned, for managing, raifing, levying, collecting, mitigating, or recovering, adjudging, or afcer- . taining the Duties thereby granted, or any of them (other than in fuch Cafes ior which other Penalties or Provilions arc made and prefcribed by this Act) fhall be exercifed, practil-jJ, applied, ufed, and put in Execution, in and for the managing, raifing, levying, collecting, mitigating, recovering, and paying the faid Duties upon Glafs, and upon Spirituous Liquors hereby granted, during the Continuance of this Act, as fully and effectually to all Intents and Purpofes, as if all and every the laid Powers, Authorit. , Rules, Directions, Methods, Penalties, Forfeitures, Claufes, Matters and Things were particularly re- peated, and again enacted in the Body of this prelent Act. XXIX. And be it further enacted and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That all Fines, Penalties Finei, &e. hrw and Forfeitures by this Act impofed, fhall be fued for, levied, recovered or mitigated by fuch Ways, t0 bc lcv ' e<1 > * c - Means and Methods, as any Fine, Penalty or Forfeiture, is or may be recovered or mitigated by any Law or Laws of Excife, or by this Aft, or by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Information in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record at Wtjhmnjler, or in the Court of Exchequer in Scotland; and that one Moiety of every fuch Fine, Penalty or Forfeiture, fhall be to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflors, and the other Moiety to him or them who fhall difcovcr, inform, or fue for the fame. XXX. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That there (hall be provided and kept Book) to be kept in the Office of the Auditor of the faid Receipt of Exchequer at JFcflminjhr, a Book or Books, in for entering the ■which all the Monies hereby appointed to be paid into the Receipt as aforefaid, fhall be entered feparate ^"^^'"^ vc * and apart from all other Monies paid or payable to his Majefty, his Heirs or Suceeflbrs, upon any Ac- epara e count whatfoever ; and the faid Money fo appointed to be paid into the faid Receipt of Exchequer as aforefaid, fhall be the yearly Fund for the feveral and refpective Purpofes herein after mentioned. XXXI.
