That all the faid Bills to be ifilied as afore- ', ' faid, fliall be current in like Manner, and with fuch Privileges and Advantages, and fubjeft to fuch Rules and Direftions, as are prefcribed and enafted by an Aft' of this prefent Seffion of Parliament, (intituled, jffi ASi for continuing and granting to his Majejly certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Piny, for the Service of the Year one thoujand /even hundred and fftv-tvjo) for or concerning the Exchequer Bills thereby authorized to be made forth ; and that all and every the Claufes and Provifoes in the faid lall mentioned Aft, relating to the Currency, Exchanging or Receiving the fame lad mentioned Exchequer Bills, by any pub- lick Receivers of Aids, Taxes or Supplies, or in his Majefly's Receipt of the Exchequer, or for forging, coiipterfeiting or altering the fame Bills, or making out new Bills in the room of fuch as fhall be filled up with ladorfements, loif, burnt, defaced, or otherwife deffroyed, or for making out Exchequer Bills of five thoufand Poiuids each, or for making out Exchequer Bills without bearing Intereft, or for making them afterwards to bear an Intereft, or a higher or lower Rate of Intereft, from Time to Time, as the Con- tiaftors fhall agree to, or for preventing any Mifapplication of the Fund on which the fame arc charged, or any other Mifbehaviour of any Officers concerned in the receiving, ilfuirig, exchanging, paying ort or cancelling the fame laft-mentioned Exchequer Bills, or for obliging the Contraftors to pay the Intercit of, cr exchange for ready Money on demand, the Exchequer Bills thereby authorized to be ilVued at a Rate or Pramium not exceeding three Poimds per Centum per Annum, or for preventing any Difabilities in any fuch Contraftors, or for making them not liable to be Bankrupts on account of fuch Contrafts, or for appoint- ing a Paymafter or Paymaiters for paying oft" and cancelling the fame Exchequer Bills in due Courfe and Order (not otherwife' altered by this Aft} fliall extend, and be conlhued to extend, as well to ihc Exchc-
