Debentures re. X. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That if at any Time from and after the twenty- inaining uniitif- fifth Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-three, any Debenture for the Bounty on Corn fied for 6 Months exported, fo payable by the faid General Receiver or Ca&ier of the Cuftoms in Scotland, fhall remain un- to carry 3 '■ P<^ fjitisfied more than fix A'lonths next following the Day when the fame fhall or may have been produced to the Commiffioners of the Cuftoms at Edinburgh as aforefaid, then and in fuch Cafe for the Forbearance or Efelay of Payment of fuch Money, as after the Expiration of the faid fix Months fhall be due on fuch De- benture, Intereft after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum fliall be allowed to the Proprietor or Proprietors thereof, his, her or their Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns ; fuch Intereft to be computed from the End of the faid fix Months, until the Money due on fuch Debenture, together with fuch Intereft fliall be paid, or until Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Hand of the faid General Receiver or Caftiier Notice to be giv- of the Cuftoms in Scotland for that Purpofe ; and like Notice fhall be given thereof in Wriiing, to be af- en when tke lame fjxed on one or more Doors of fome publick Place or Places in the Curtom-houfe at Edijihwgh, and to be ^:fch^->'-^d "and aclvs'"t"ed '" ths Edinburgh Currant, that the faid General Receiver or Calhier is ready to pay and dlfcha'ge Intereft "to ceafe.'^h" Principal and Intereft due on fuch Debentures ; after the Expiration of which Time limited in fuch Notice, if Payment of fuch Principal and Intereft fhall not be demanded, purfuant to the faid Notice, all Intereft on fuch Debentures fhall ceafe and determine.
