And be it further enacted, That no Letter of Attorney, from and after the faid firfi: Day of yune, 1747, Leitets of fnade by any Seaman, Marine or Soldier, belonging to any of his Majeity's Ships or Vtflels of War, or to At^tojney to be^ ^ ^ Merchant Ship in his Majefty's Ser'ice, or othervvife in the Service of his Majelry, his Heirs or Sue- , ^^fr^j.^^ Q^ having Letters of Marque, or belonging to any Privateer, or by the Executors or Adminiftrators of any fuch Seaman, Marine or Soldier, in order to impower and intitle any Perfon or Perfons to receive any Share or Shares of any Prize or Prizes, or Bounty- money as aforefaid, of any Kind whatfoever now due, or at any Time hereafter to grow due to any Seaman, Marine or Soldier, fhall be good and valid, and fufHcient for that Purpofe, unlefs fuch Letter of Attorney be made revokeable, and for the Ufe of fuch Erd at'efted hy Seaman, Marine or Soldier making the fame, and unlefs the fame be figned and executed before, and at- t.;.eCaptain, &c. teftcd by the Captain or Commander, and one other of the Warrant or Signing Officers of the Ship to which fuch Seaman, Marine or Soldier making the fame fhall belong, or the Clerk of the Cheque of one of his Majefty's Dock-yards, or the Mayor or Chief Maglftrate of fome Corporation.
