And be it cnaded, That in cafe any Private Man ferving in the faid Militia fhall, on Miiida Man falling fick on a the March, or at the Place where he fhall be called out to annual Exercife, be difabled bv Sick- March, or at the Place of an- nefs, it fhall and may be lawful for any one Juftice of the Peace of the County, or any Mayor nuai Exercife, is to be P'"v.ded or Chief Magiftrate of any City, Town or Place, where fuch Man fhall then be, to order him g^^.^^^/or ^tice oTthc Fea'e; fuch Relief as he fhall think reafonable, by Warrant under his Hand and Seal ; and the Officers ^^^ The'Expence thereof to be of the Parifh, Tything or Place, for which fuch Man fliall ferve as a A4ilitia Man, (hall reim- reimbuifed by his proper Parim. burfe the fame to the Officers of the Parifh where fuch Militia Man fhall then receive fuch Re- lief, which fhall be allowed in their Accounts, upon producing the above Order : Provided that fuch Allowance fhall not intitle fuch Perfon to any Settlement in the faid Parifh or Place where he fhall receive fuch Relief. XXVII. And be it ena6ted. That when the Militia of any County, Riding or Place, fhall Every Militia Man to receive be ordered out into adual Service, the Receiver or Receivers General of the Land Tax for fuch ^^^e Guinea upon being ordered County, Riding or Place, fhall, and he or they is and are hereby required to pay, or caufe to °"^'"^°^ "^' ^'^■"^'^• be paid, to the Captain, or other Commanding Officer of each Company of Militia fo ordered out for fuch County, Riding or Place, one Guinea for each Private Alilitia Man belonging to his Company, to be paid over by fuch Captain, or other Officer, to every fuch Private Militia Man, en or before the Day appointed for Marching ; and fuch Receiver or Receivers General fhall be allowed the fame in his or their Accounts. . XXVIII. And be it ena^ed.
